Both of them run into a secret hatch in the office leading to the Elevator toward the bunker, Entering the Elevator, As they went down, The whole country shakes...

Civilians are walking around, The shaking is not intense enough to cause any damage other than cups falling, so the civilians are minding their own business until, A bright flash appears across the borders of the United States, Its territories, And the Fleets of ships. The flash lasted a whopping, Two seconds but blinded people for a few more.
Air traffic has been grounded for a while, so they pose no threat. After the flash stopped, Everyone was dazed, the bright light left many temporarily blind, The shaking was gone but something.. Was.. Very off. The sky was clearer, The air was less polluted, and Everything seemed... less dirty?

Many Canadian citizens looked in awe at the large buildings on their borders that suddenly appeared suddenly in the flash of light, Of course, they couldn't get there because of a River but they just admired it.
Soldier: "What the hell was that flash.."

After a long discussion, they received clearance to use a local police station's helicopter to fly into the city. Once they loaded up and took off, they arrived to find themselves bombarded by curious onlookers.
Many people were aware of what the sudden vehicle was, but they were confused by its shape. Some shouted in disbelief, claiming the helicopter was witchcraft.
