I woke up sweating. I was panting heavily and I couldn't see clearly. Thoughts of losing Gelkmaros rushed through my head and then thoughts of my father being disappointed in me. Suddenly I was shivering. Was it this cold in Gelkmaros? It shouldn't be. I wasn't wearing a shirt and there was a bandage going from my stomach to my right shoulder. I was pierced there and I received a fatal blow to the head from a Templar. I remember it clearly. There was a bandage on my head too. I was at the camp we set up here and I was inside the Infirmary tent. A lady came in who I recognized as the general leading the siege.

"Hey, you're up. We have Gelkmaros and we're going home. Think you can walk?" she asked and I got up.

"Where's all my stuff?" I asked.

"It's in the bag over there. Once you're done, you can come out and speak with the teleporter to teleport back." and she left the tent.

I rummaged through the bags until I found a satchel that matched mine and put on some clothes. Finally, we were going home. How long was I out for? After fixing my hair, I exited the tent and saw very few soldiers left. I went towards the teleporter to teleport back.

"Coming or going?" he asked. Obviously going.

"Going. Oh, and if you don't mind, do you how long it's been since we started the siege?"

"It's been three days." I nodded and said a quick thank you, paid him, and was teleported to Gelkmaros fortress.

I'm finally here. What am I going to say when I get back to Pandaemonium? To my father? To Casupiaxe Resunova? To Zora? To Zora...

Flashback

I strolled up to her door and knocked. Who answered? Her mother.

"Azphelumbra, is Zora here today?" I asked gently.

"Yes, she is. Are you the kind daeva who saved her from those freaks in that damn Tavern?"

"Yes, I am. May I see her for a moment? I just want to check if she's okay after that."

"You may see her. Zora!" she called her name and I heard footsteps rushing. Her mother turned and looked at me and smiled. "She'll be here shortly." I murmured a, "Thank you." and there she was, Zora.

"Hey sav--I mean Cassex!" she was cheerful today. She looks cute being cheerful.

"Azphelumbra to you too, Zora. I said I'd check up on you."

"And you have."

"I was wondering if you were busy today."

"I am..." and she looked to her right where I could see her mother was urging her to say no and she turned back towards me. "Not! Are you going somewhere?"

"I am, actually. I was going to ask if you want to go hunting with me."

"Oh uhm... sure? I guess? But I don't really know how to hunt sooo...." I saw her look towards her right again and her mother was looking with disapproval. Was she lying?
