"Well, you made it!" Adam beamed seeing Cherry skating in.

Joe wasn't that far behind him. There was a decent group of people gathered in the lot. Adam seemed to be holding court with a bunch of teens by the tunnels. Joe glanced from there to where the others were doing tricks. Cherry snickered.

"Go ahead, ape!" He grinned.

The way the light danced in his eyes, made Kojiro feel uneasy. He turned to follow the flying pink ponytail down to the tunnels. Adam laughed upon seeing the pair coming in fast. Side by side, Joe had sped up to get beside Cherry. He bent his knees to come around a small bend. Cherry had taken the inside curve. He shot ahead of Joe.

"Too slow, Joe!" Adam called out, laughing as the pair came up beside him.

"Yeah, but he has the moves over there." Cherry pointed behind him.

"Really? You know some tricks?" Adam asked.

"A few." Joe said with a grin.

"Lets see something?" Adam pushed, that smile spurring Joe on.

"Yeah, go show him..." Cherry began.

"Snake, let's go." Joe called.

The tall lanky teen behind Adam jerked as his name was called. He gave a tiny smirk, before turning his eyes to Adam. The blue haired teen shrugged.

"Go ahead, show the fool up!" Adam grinned.

"Come on, you're going to want to see this. Trust me, no one beats Snake." He whispered a bit loudly, in Cherry's ear.

Cherry shivered, but smiled back at the teen.

"You haven't seen Joe." He teased.

"Care for a wager?" Adam smirked.

"Yeah, whose best friend losses, buys dinner." Cherry arched his brow.

"You're planning on going to that restaurant his family owns?" Adam teased as they followed the crowd to the half pipe.

"Ah, no way. Eat there too much. You can afford..." Cherry was cut off by Adam's laugh.

"Just watch, rookie." He pointed to where Snake waited atop the pipe.

The kid before him went down. Then, well those hips didn't lie at all. They way he flipped down, twirled the board and spun backwards up the other side, was uncanny. Not only was he fast, as well as accurate, he had the skill to back up whatever his friend boosted about.

"See. No way Mr. Class President is going to beat that." Adam crowed.

"JOE!" Cherry yelled.

The boy was about to kick off. He turned to look down at the pink haired teen.

"Take that fucking jacket off and get serious!" Cherry yelled.

Joe laughed. He undid the jacket, slipping it off, he tossed it to Cherry. Joe kicked off. It didn't even look like he knew where he was, but what he did... well that would make anyone pause. Adam's mouth fell open. Snake smiled broadly at his side.

"If he worked out..." The lanky teen spoke as if he didn't know any one was listening. His eyes danced as they followed Joe's moves.

"He has potential. Here, but he isn't fast." Adam scuffed.

"I told you, speed isn't everything." Snake cooed. "Not compared to natural talent." He nearly whispered.

Cherry was sure he was the only one that heard the last comment. Joe rounded up, doing a handstand, with only one had. He kicked his board high into the air. It flipped around, not even watching the board, Joe did a hand spring aerial, that went into a back flip. Here he landed on the board, tipping it up to spin around. Joe winked at Cherry.
