Chapter Twenty-Eight: Restraint

Ares's Pov

The guys and I were now alone in the Sheriff's office.

We're crowded around Scott's phone to listen to Allison speak as she was on speaker.

Allison called us to tell us that she found out that someone is controlling Jackson when he's the Kanima.

That opens new doors for us, meaning we need to get more answers.

"If Jackson doesn't know what he's doing then he probably doesn't know someone's controlling him" Allison said.

"Or he doesn't remember" I added.

"What if it's the same kind of thing that happened with Lydia when she took off from the hospital?" Stiles asked.

"A fugue state?" Allison asked.

"He'd have to forget everything. The murder" Scott said.

"Getting rid of the blood" Allison added.

"Yeah, he had help with one thing though. The video" Stiles said.

"And someone else helped him forget that" I added.

"Whoever's controlling him" Scott finished.

"Are you sure Jackson has no clue about any of this?" Allison asked.

"He thinks he's still becoming a werewolf and that being with Lydia somehow delayed the whole thing" I rolled my eyes.

The jackass still thinks that it's Lydia's fault when it's really not.

"So do we try and convince him he's not?" Allison asked.

"If it helps us find out who's controlling him, then yeah" Scott nodded. 

"Do you think he'll talk to us after what we did?" Allison asked.

"Yeah, it's us. He'll talk to us" Stiles nodded.

He looks at us with worry in his eyes.

"Right?" Stiles asked.

A Few Minutes Later

We were moved into an interrogation room once Mr. Stilinski was done talking to Mr. Whittemore.

He called Ms. McCall and Emerson over.

The two of them came, along with Mr. Blackwell.

Right now Scott and Stiles were sitting together at the table with Mr. Stilinski standing across from them and Mr. Whittemore standing near them.

Ms. McCall was standing nearby, her back pressed against the wall and a hand covering her mouth.

Emerson and I were standing near her with Mr. Blackwell standing behind us.

"You will not go within 50 feet of Jackson Whittemore. You will not speak to him. You will not approach him. You will not assault or harass him physically or psychologically" Mr. Stilinski said.

He was reading off everything that was said on the restraining order.

So, Mr. Whittemore talked to Jackson and they have agreed not to press charges.

However, it's clear that Mr. Whittemore doesn't want us near his son.

So this is what they came up with.

I'm just confused as to why Mr. Stilinski is reading it off to Scott and Stiles and not me.

It makes me worry that I'm going to get a different punishment.
