Shubman's pov:-
"And you know what happened after that?! I picked him up in my arms!! My fucking arms!!! Can you believe that?!! Gosh! My heart was beating so fast like!-"
My continuous shrieking was cut off by Abhi who's face was tiredly buried in his hands.
"That's the third time you are telling me this consecutively..."
He made his statement upon rubbing his face with a tired sigh which didn't went unnoticed by me.
Nevertheless, I continued my shrieking while he paid no attention to me.
"I couldn't help it! He looked so cute! I literally just wanted to take him out with me but he refused..."
Abhi peered at me, judging my whole existence with his scrunched face before turning the page of his book.
"Why did he refuse though?"
He uttered as curiousity got a hold of him at the mention of Ishan's refusal.
"He said, he doesn't like going out."
I leaned on the sofa, allowing my mind to drift in his thoughts as I aimlessly stared at the ceiling.
"He meant he doesn't like going out with 'you'. And now I get it, so that's why you sent him food last night."
Abhi acknowledged the reason, partially nodded his head and focussed back on his book.
"I would have went there myself if you didn't stop me."
Choosing to ignore his first bogus statement, I complained after leaning up.
"Wait! What about his breakfast?!"
I instantly got up and went to the kitchen to cook and pack fresh breakfast for Ishan.
"It's 6 freaking in the morning!"
Abhi shut the book, looked up at me and restrained himself from cursing by gritting his teeth.
"That's exactly what I am saying! It's 6 already."
I picked up a potato, twisted it in my palm in spiral motion, before washing it.
"Mujhe to kabhi kuch bana ke khilaya nahi tune."
Abhi complained with a scoff and placed the book on the table.
I continued to peel onions before washing by deciding to ignore his ranting.
"What if your sweetheart is still sleeping?"
Abhi got up, rolled his eyes and asked after picking up a washed apple from the basket.
I stopped on my tracks and thought for it for some seconds.
"You are right. I should call him beforehand."
Apparently, he has a point.
Upon pulling out my phone from the pocket, I cleared my throat before making a call.
"Hello? Ishan! Good morning."
No this doesn't seem right. A bit more manly? I cleared my throat again.
"Hello it's Shubman here." Is it too much?
"Aise to ho gayi teri call."
Abhi mocked while gesturing circles around his temple, roundabout calling me crazy.
I sticked out my tongue mockingly before focussing back on the phone.
"Atleast I have someone to call."
