Ishan's pov:-
Apparently, everything's been going well.
I started working at Shub's restaurant and restarted the music classes. We also hang out often.
It's going great.
Perfect-just like I want it to be.
I wish I could turn back time. So, I would be able to keep reliving these moments with him, reminiscing the memories.
"Wonderfull!!"
I heard roaring shouts overlapping with the sounds of applause at the end of my performance.
I kept my head low, searching for my cane resting on the seat until I felt a presence beside me.
"It was awesome!"
Ofcourse it was none other than Shub, grasping my hand to hand me the cane.
I could feel him pat and caress my shoulder encouragingly.
I can't help but blush each hour, each minute, each second I am with him.
We are like magnets, attracting each other with full force.
Both being opposite in nature-introvert and extrovert just like poles.
I have always been astonished, at the fact that the boy who was scared of socializing is now performing in front of so many people.
Shub's company really pulled me out of my comfort zone and exceptionally boosted my self confidence, my happiness, basically everything.
"Thanks" I mumbled after cautiously getting up.
"Eat something. Then I'll drop you home." I heard him spoke as he escorted me to the backside.
That's peculiar cuz we eat together approximately everyday.
"You are not accompanying me today?" I asked inquistively as he assisted me to sit on the chair.
"I have to buy something. But I'll be back soon. Don't worry." He answered after giving my hand a gently squeeze.
He sounds anxious. But why?
I also squeezed his hand back and nodded my head in agreement with a soft smile.
He let go of my hand.
The sounds of his footsteps grew distant and the smile vanished from my face.
I feel lonely.
But why am I worrying? He will be back soon.
I opened the lid of my tactile watch and felt the time indicators with my fingers. It's 11:32 pm.
This timing is normal, even earlier than usual. Most of the days, they end up closing the restaurant at 2 pm.
"Hey!"
I heard a quite loud greeting coming from beside me almost making me startled.
"Abhi?" I uttered for confirmation.
"Yup, it's me here." I heard him answer along with the sound of chair sliding, probably him taking a seat.
"How's it going?" He asked to initiate a conversation.
I could hear the sound of plate sliding over the table. I extended my hand forward and found it in front of me.
"Good. What about you?"
I asked after taking a spoonful of rice and carefully taking a bite.
"It's alright." He answered instantly, sounding bored.
