1. A girl

Dear Diary, today was just a normal basic day. School was boring and long like always and I went for a walk with Luca. Nothing interesting. But lately, I have been having a strange feeling about something. I don't know if it's a bad feeling. I am not really sure about it but I will hope it's nothing bad...

As you close your diary your border collie Luca jumps on you. He is just a year old so he has a lot of energy. He knocks the notebook out of your hands and makes you fall on your back into the pillows behind you. You laugh and pet him. It's dark outside and you are already showered so you keep lying down and Luca calms down and lies down next to you and you keep petting his head while thinking about some stuff and eventually fall asleep

The next day you wake up with Luca still by your side. You sit up and notice that you are late. You jump out of bed and run to your closet to quickly grab some random clothes. After you are dressed you run to the bathroom to brush your teeth and at least a little fix your hair before grabbing your backpack on your way out

You run to the school as fast as you can and on your way to the locker, you accidentally crash into someone. You both fall down and you can see a few books on the ground. You immediately get up and apologize

"it's okay" a girl says as she gets up too and looks at you

You forget about your class and that you are late. You smile a little at the feeling knowing that she is okay and help her with the books

"here" you say handing her the books

"thank you" she answers and takes the books from you and you go separately to your classes

After classes at lunch, you see the girl again. Her red hair isn't easy to forget. When it's your turn you take your lunch and then approach her

"hi. Can I join you?" you ask as the girl turns her head to see you and agrees

You smile a little and sit down

"I'm sorry about this morning" you say and she laughs a little "what's so funny?" you add confused

"It was just funny. When I think about it now" she says and eats

You roll your eyes but don't say anything and eat as well. You spend the lunch break together talking and getting to know each other. You find out she just started school here so she is still trying to get used to the building and people

A few days go by and you get closer a little. You always see each other in the hallway and share a few words but nothing big as talks or hanging out after school since you are still not that close.

Now you are sitting on your bed with Luca by your side and listening to music. You have your notebook in your hands enjoying your time and writing again

After meeting Sadie that day I have been happier. Until that day I have mostly focused on school how my parents wanted but now I even enjoy going to school hoping to see Sadie. I have learned so many things over the past few days. She is a very talkative person and made me talk too.

Your writing gets cut by your phone ringing so you get up and pick up an unknown number just to hear Sadie's voice

"Heyyy Y/n. Are you free?" she says and you smile since you hear her happy

"hmm am I?" you tease her and she sighs making you laugh

"I am. why are you asking?" you add after her sigh

"I was supposed to go to the amusement park with my friend but she cancelled me on the last minute. Do you want to go with me? I don't want to go alone" Sadie says and your eyes widen not knowing what to say you freeze
