Beyond Heartbeat (MIKHAIAH)

CHAPTER 1

Mikha's POV
Mikha Lim, 24 and in a relationship with my childhood sweetheart. I finished business back in college and now owning a café chain around Manila.

Life's been great for me, I have settled on my own at young age. Bought a car using my own money and hopefully a house soon.

I have established my business alongside with my bestfriend Colet, who's also into coffee business as well.

Mikha's POV
I love going on adventures, specially with the love of my life, Aiah.

We love running, going a beach, hiking, and camping. We also share love for coffee and dogs.

Aiah and I knew each other since we're kids. Our parents are business partners back then. I was in denial before that I like here but guess who's gay?

Mikha's POV
Aiah and I also loves participating in non-profit organizations. Recently we have participated in the outreach program organized by our friends Colet and Maloi.

We love doing orphanage visits and love helping kids who is deprived from the happiness and comfort that they deserve.

Mikha's POV
Aiah and I has been in a relationship for a decade already, we started from puppy love 'til we got here. We're already talking about settling down but we still have to save up.

We wanted to buy a house first as we are still renting a condo near at our workplace.

Aiah's POV
Aiah Arceta, 25. I am working in a company as an assistant manager. My bestfriend, Stacey owns the company. So we basically work hand-in-hand in running the business.

On my days off, I am pursuading my partner Mikha to go on a run or a hike with me. I am a very active person, I want to be productive as much as possible.

Aiah's POV
My relationship with Mikha is a magical one, I always called it magical dahil isang dekada na ang lumipas at ilang away na ang dumaan.

Andiyan pa din siya, she waited for me. She's my childhood crush and ended up my soon to be wife.

Aiah's POV
We love going on adventures, specially on beach and sponty hikes. Despite of our busy schedule, hindi namin kinakalimutan na magkaroon ng time for us.

We want to make every moment count. Because time really waits for no one.

Third Person POV
It is a usual morning for Mikha and Aiah. The latter usually wakes up first before Mikha. Mikha's been always a heavy sleeper, kahit ata batuhin mo siya pusa habang tulog di pa din gigising.

Mikha's POV
"Babi wake up na. May work ka pa..." I heard Aiah said as she showers me with kisses.

This is our every morning routine since we decided to live together. We have decided to rent a condo first habang nag hahanap pa kami ng affordable na bahay.

Mikha's POV
"Bub five more minutes..." I said while my eyes are still closed. My ears and body are awake pero mabigat pa rin ang mata ko.

"Yung five minutes mo naging fifteen na. Get up na Mikha Lim baka lumamig na yung prinepare kong breakfast." Aiah said, her voice is still sweet kahit alam kong naiirita na siya sa akin.

Mikha's POV
There I opened my eyes and saw the most beautiful woman i've ever seen smiling at me.

I hope that I could wake up every morning to this. Sana habang buhay kong nakikita yung ganda ng mga ngiti niya.

Mikha's POV
"Good morning bub..." She said while smiling sweetly.

"Good morning, ang ganda mo naman sa umaga." I responded. She playfully nudged my face using her hand while laughing.
