Beyond Heartbeat (MIKHAIAH)

CHAPTER 16

Third Person POV
The couple and their family are finally back in Manila. Mikha and Aiah have decided to spend their honeymoon by moving into their new home.

Mikha was accompanied by Maloi and Colet who then admitted their relationship to their friends after the wedding.

Aiah's POV
I can't believe that we're finally moving into our new home. Mikha have already turned over everything to Sheena sa condo before we move.

I still can't believe that Mikha and I are officially married. We're now starting a new chapter of our lives with a lot of firsts coming into our way.

Today is our first lunch as a married couple but with our friends Colet and Maloi. Our other friends are not available today and they're the only one available to help us.

Aiah's POV
Our parents was left in states dahil doon naman sila nakatira. We're planning on going back in there for a visit if we have a time.

While we're having lunch, I felt my chest tighten again. I felt a pang of pain from it which made it difficult for me to breathe.

"Aiah okay ka lang?" Maloi asked, she's sitting in front of me that's why she noticed it.

Aiah's POV
"O-okay lang ako. Medyo napagod lang siguro." I said. I am trying to shake it off because I don't want to cause a scene here.

I am trying my best to calm and to sustain my heart rythm but everything feels like out of control. I saw Mikha looked at me and held my hand, she's asking me something but I can't hear her.

"Let's take her to the hospital already." Mikha said as she stood up, I held her arm as I finally gained my composure back. This is the second time that I felt like i'm having a heart attack.

Aiah's POV
"Uy Aiah ayos ka lang ba? Mikha iuwi mo na kaya si Aiah? Namumutla na siya bai." Colet said looking worried.

"Mabuti pa nga Mikhs. Baka kung anong mangyari kay Aiah. Mag pahinga na muna kayo, ayos na rin naman lahat diba?" Maloi said.

"Yes guys, thank you for helping us move in ha. Punta lang kayo sa house kung gusto niyo. Welcome kayo anytime." Mikha said, she then turned her gaze towards me. "Let's go?" She asked and I nodded as a response.

Aiah's POV
We bid our good byes to our friends and went to our car in the parking lot.

"Bub I am worried about you already. Bumalik na kaya tayo sa hospital?" Mikha said. We have missed check-ups that was supposed to be done every other week.

"We'll come visit Gwen naman tomorrow. Huwag ka masyadong mag-alala sakin okay?" I said as I caressed her face using my thumb.

Aiah's POV
"Why don't we go home to our house hmm? Let's watch a movie or set up things? Let's chill for a sec babi stop over reacting." I said and kissed her knuckles. She then smiled at me and begin driving.

She's right, we need to see doctors. I am overthinking but I don't want Mikha to notice it. Hindi makakatulong kung pareho kaming takot.

I am afraid of whatever they may find, I am not ready for now at lalong si Mikha. We just got married, I want us to seize every moment as possible.

Third Person POV
This is their first afternoon in their new house. Mikha accompanied Aiah to their room para makapag pahinga muna si Aiah.

Hindi naman na naka palag pa si Aiah because Mikha tucked her to bed. Mikha is taking care of Aiah like a fragile infant right now.

Mikha's POV
There's a lot of 'almost' happened to Aiah already and I am worried that there might be something that needs to be checked.

I am looking at my wife who's peacefully sleeping right now, hindi ako mapalagay that's why I called Gwen. Despite of being our friend, Gwen is a hands on doctor to Aiah.
