Tomorrow is the day. Tomorrow we fight, and we could not be more nervous. We have no idea how things will turn out, but we can only hope for the best. Nightmare had given us a day of rest so we're prepared for tomorrow. Nightmare even urged me to rest rather than try to train some more. I've come to notice in the days leading up how people try to cope with their stress. Cross seemed to isolate himself more, Horror was stress eating, and Killer and Dust would distract themselves with video games and other things. Fell and Blue went off to their own universes for the day to spend some time with their friends there, and who knows what Error is up to.

I was in my room, looking through books and such, still going over the plan I had. I hoped it would work. If Dream uses the spell how I hope he will, then it should all go smoothly. If the last fight we had was anything to go off of, Ink may try to go for me again, so I will have to be prepared for that. I'll need to stay close to Nightmare so I-

There was suddenly a knocking on my door, pulling me from my thoughts. I got up and walked over to my door, opening it to see Nightmare.

"Y/n, I thought I would come to check up on you. You seem quite... troubled." He gave me a clearly worried look. I tend to forget he could just sense our emotions.

"Uh, yeah... yeah, I'm alright. I mean, the best I could be with... tomorrow."

He was silent for a moment, seeming to study me, "Y/n, there is no need to overwork your mind, especially right now. If there is something bothering you, you can tell me or anyone else."

I nodded and stayed silent for a bit.

"Nightmare? May I ask a favor from you?"

He looked at me curiously and nodded, "of course, what is it?"

"I've... I've been thinking a lot about tomorrow and... well.... I would just like you to promise me that you won't try and stop what happens tomorrow."

"... may I ask what will happen?"

"... It might be better if you don't know. You wouldn't be very happy with it. None of you will."

There was more silence until he answered. "Alright, I trust you Y/n. All I ask is that you live. ... But, just in case, I feel there is something I should tell you. Please be kind when I tell you this, it's... it is something that I am still a bit ...confused on." He laughed a bit awkwardly and that cyan blush I had seen so long ago now appeared across his cheekbones. "I... have feelings for you. Feelings of... affection. And I know I am not the only one with these feelings, the others feel the same way about you, though most of them will not admit it."

Now it was my turn to blush. They had feelings for me? All of them? I hadn't even been focusing on my feelings towards them all that much, especially recently. I had been so focused on my own things.

"Feelings? You... you mean like-?" I wasn't quite sure what to say, my mind was spinning, trying to think of what my own feelings for them were.

"I just felt it might be better to be upfront with you, from what I do know about these feelings it seems like the best thing to do. I didn't really know I could feel such things, it's very... foreign to me. I think it would be best for me to leave now, it's clear you have your own things to figure out. Remember, if you need anything, we are here."

I nodded and he then disappeared. I closed my door and started to think a bit. I looked over at my books and my plans.

I then rush out of my room and start to run through the halls. I first stopped at Cross's room quickly knocking on his door. He opened it, seeming a bit surprised to see me, especially since I was suddenly so energetic.

"Y/n, what are you-"

I quickly cut him off, "head to the living room, I have something for us to do."

I didn't explain any more as I quickly rushed off as fast as my legs would take me, almost running past the garden where Horror and Buddy were. Horror had been taking Buddy around with him since I had been in my room so much. I was glad Buddy will be in good hands. I ran out into the garden over to them and Buddy instantly perked up at hearing me.

"Guys! Come to the living room, I have a surprise!"

I then quickly ran back inside before Horror could get a word out, though I did hear him try to say something but quickly giving up as I ran away. I ran all the way to the living room, stopping in the doorway to finally catch my breath. I noticed them all there, Horror must have just teleported, all of them looking confused, especially Killer and Dust.

"Y'know, I could have just teleported you with us," Horror said as Buddy ran over and jumped up to me, giving me a slight hug.

I pet Buddy, still catching my breath a bit, "Didn't think about it. Alright! I had an idea how we could spend today!"

Dust raised an "eyebrow," still didn't know how that worked, "And what is this idea exactly?"

"Some hide and seek of course! I figured it would be the best thing to do, something fun for us all at least, even if not everyone is here."

Cross gave a small nod, as did Horror, and Killer looked excited.

"Hell yeah! That'll be tons of fun!"

Dust gave them all an "are you serious?" look, "We aren't seriously going to play hide and seek like we're children."

"With that attitude, I think you should seek first. And good luck finding Y/n," Cross said with a sly grin. He then took off out of the room, starting the game. Horror teleported off and Killer started to run too. I held my breath, turning invisible and started to run as well, hearing Dust try to protest, buddy staying with him.

"Wha- hey! ... Dammit."

I kept running until I eventually got in the throne room, having to turn visible again so I could catch my breath. I looked around a bit then decided to just run over to the throne and hide behind there. I giggled a bit as I sat behind the throne. I sat there for probably an hour or so, Dust had a lot of rooms to search after all, until I heard footsteps coming into the throne room. I quickly held my breath, hearing some talking. I could hear Dust and Killer, but it sounded like more than two sets of footsteps. I sat quietly, listening to them talk and realized they were talking to Buddy. Eventually, Buddy's head peeked around the throne, and I quickly got up, realizing they were using my own dog against me. I felt betrayed.

I started to move away but Buddy kept following me. "Found you Y/n!" killer yelled out and I was suddenly picked up by Cross, which caused me to gasp and turn visible again.

"I can't believe you guys would use my dog against me. How cruel." I leaned back dramatically, putting a hand to my forehead.

We all laughed, and Killer then spoke up, "Alright Horror, you were found first so now you have to find us!"

"If we play like that Y/n will never be the seeker," Cross chimed in, setting me back down.

"Maybe you guys should just get better then. And no more using my dog, from now on that's cheating."

We all continued to play until it was time for Horror to make dinner. At dinner we were all talking, and I would see Nightmare smiling fondly hearing us talk. I really liked being here with all of them. I loved them all...

Boy, are they going to hate me for what I plan to do.

I finally updated! Yippee! There will be two more chapters, then this story will end for now. I have some other plans of what else I would like to do, and hopefully once cross-country season is over, I can get myself to have an actual writing schedule. Until then, just hope and pray that I will get the next chapter out within the next couple of months! :)
