Mood: Shoestrings; AWOLNATION
The last place I'd thought I'd find myself was a party. The weekend of my first week at school, but according to Annabelle, Daisy always knew of a party. They went to one almost every weekend.
I tightened my messy ponytail as I followed Daisy, Scarlet, Jo and Bo through the crowd. We were looking for the boys. Daisy kept assuring us that they were around here some where. We spotted Dan and Tyler sitting on a couch. As we got closer, I noticed Josh and Marcus sitting on a couch on the other side of a coffee table.
Josh noticed us and waved us over. We followed Daisy. She sat on the ground, Bo, Annabelle, Scarlet and I followed suit.
The bass of the song rattled my rib cage and it was hard to hear a conversation due to the loudness of some weird remix song. I tapped along to the beat of the song against my knee as I scanned the room. Loads of people were dancing and drinking. I snickered while I watched a very drunk guy walk over to a girl and try and kiss her, only to be shoved and fall to the floor.
I turned my attention back to the group. They were passing around red solo cups. I turned down one as I got to me.
"You don't drink?" Scarlet yelled over the music.
I shook my head and shurgged as she looked at me, baffled.
Beer tastes bad, and I want to remeber things the next day. I tightened my mess of a ponytail again. Tyler ended up with two cups. He looked around and spotted me without a cup. He held one up, silently offering it to me. I put my hand up and shook my head.
He shrugged and downed both cups within a minute. I gaped at him and he winked at me. I laughed and rolled my eyes.
"AVINNE!" Dasiey yelled stumbling over to me.
The alcohol was already pumping through her system. She grabbed both of my arms and pulled me up.
"Okay?" I said more to myself.
She leaned in super close, "Lets go dance."
She giggiled and pulled me through the jumping sea of sweaty, drunk people.
We found a spot and she began jumping and moving her arms all around. I stood there a moment and looked around. It was too dim and everyone was drunk. So basicaly it's the best place to look like an idiot. I began jumping and dancing as well.
Soon enough almost half of the group found us and began dancing all around us. Tyler and Dan Walked over shirtless and Dan was on Tylers shoulders. They were yelling things that were drowned out because of the loud music. I laughed watching everyone dance moves.
Marcus ran over to me and threw me over his shoulder. I giggled. He ran around with me for a while. We ended up in the kitchen. He set me down and we began dancing. Jo and Annabelle ran over to us. We danced in a small circle. I smiled, feeling the happiest I've been in this town. Tyler walked over wobbling, trying to balance Dan on his shoulders. Soon enough the group was back with us.
We danced our hearts out. Most of us were sweating like crazy but no one seemed to care.

We left a few minutes before midnight. Apparently I wasn't the only one would didn't drink tonight. Josh was sober and drove everyone back to Daisy's house. I was exhausted and glad I told my mom I was sleeping over at Daisy's. I didn't want to go home and be questioned on why I'm so sweaty.
We pulled up to her house. I was too tired to look at much of the details. We all walked into her house and crashed onto the couches. I didn't make it in time to get a couch but I crashed on the floor with Dan, Jo and Scarlet.
I fell asleep with in minutes.

"Aviiiiiinee.." Someone was trying to wake me up
"Nphm.." I replied, getting more comfortable.
"There's food.." They were now poking my shoulder.
"Noooo.." I hated mornings.
"Well if you're gonna stay sleeping, could you at least get off of me?" The more awake I became the more I realized a male was talking to me.
"Whaa..?" I lifted my head off of what I thought was a pillow.
"Morning babe, quite the cuddler, aren't'cha?" Dan laughed.
I shoved my hand into his face, tiredly smiling. He playfully bit my fingers.
"Hey ya flirts! Hurry before the pancakes are gone!" Daisy yelled.
We laughed and got up. I stretched and cracked my back, before trudging to the kitchen. The smell of bacon, eggs and sweet pancakes took over my senses. I smiled while I grabbed a plate. I piled my plate with two helpings of everything, then went to the big table where everyone else was.
I plopped down with an 'oof' and dug into my pancakes. I was a sucker for breakfast food. If my mom let me, I'd have breakfast for all three meals.
"What's on the agenda for today?" Jo asked.
"Sleep off our hangovers?" Tyler moaned.
"That's on your agenda. Not all of us downed four beers before the first song was over.
"What can I say? I like having fun." He sarcastically smiled at her.
She rolled her eyes, "I wanted to go to an amusement park today."
The boys groaned.
"Fine, how about just the girls?" She suggested
"Yeah-no, don't put me down for that." Daisy said.
"Well who wants to go?"
Silence followed.
Jo turned to me, "Avinne?"
"Mnnhm?" I said through a mouth full of pancakes.
"Come on. It'll be fun!" She said, while I swallowed my pancakes.
"What if we just hung out here and watched movies and stuff?" I asked.
"No THAT'S an idea." Dan pointed at me.
"Who's down for that?" Jo asked.
A chours of unenthusiastic 'me's' filled the room. Jo huffed in annoyance.
.
After everyone finished up breakfast, that's exactly what we did. All day long.
