This post parties' atmosphere with chirping birds outside always felt like from a different parallel universe.

That early morning, after half of my pack texted me to let me know they had made it home safely, I started gathering Lilly, Asher, Caden, and Savannah into my car. Dealing with a sleeping Asher wasn't as difficult as I had feared, and Lilly smiled as she helped pile him into the backseat, waiting for Caden to sit beside her.

Savannah clicked her seat-belt on and gave me a tired look, but her green eyes sparkled with gratefulness. Despite that, I didn't feel proud of sneaking her into the club. My morals were definitely off-kilter, thanks to the rising mating bond between us.

With drumming my fingers on the steering wheel, I drove Caden a few blocks to his place first. He hadn't been exactly walking straight, but at least he was awake, unlike Asher. During the short ride, Lilly was busy dodging Caden's playful attempts to mess with her unconscious twin brother. They were laughing quietly, their hands catching each other's to stop before tickling Asher.

Savannah was just listening intensely to their muffled laughter, giving me side glances with a wide grin.

My eyes flicked to the rearview mirror a few times, watching them being like kids, lost in their own little world.

When I stopped at Caden's house, they didn't even notice, nor me turning in my seat to look at them.

Caden tried to get to Asher to tease him again and Lilly stopped him by holding both of his wrists firmly with a low chuckle.

"Caden, stop, he will be super angry if you'll awaken him," she whispered.

"C'mon, just a little tickle and blaming it on you," he tried again, but without any outcome. Asher was deep in his beauty sleep.

Her eyes widened. "No! You're crazy."

Then she looked at me, something sparkled in her eyes as she realized we were already at Caden's. I watched her quietly as she sneaked her hand behind Caden and opened the car's door.

Caden was slowly, almost comically little by little, falling outside of the car and grimaced dramatically, letting out a breath. "No, Lilly, what have you done to me!"

Savannah grabbed my arm as we tried to stifle our laughter while Caden dropped on the ground and tried to take Lilly with him.

She just stayed planted and then waved down at him with a smile. "Good night, troublemaker."

Caden quickly stood up, went to my window and waited until I rolled it down.

"Thank you for the fun night, bye-bye, princess," he muttered then looked at Savannah. "Sweet dreams, Rapunzel."

"Bye, princess," we both told him at once.

With a blow-kiss to me and Savannah, he muttered something about texting me tomorrow before disappearing into the shadows of his house. He for sure forgot that his phone wasn't found yet.

We waved at him lastly when he looked from one of the windows. Looking back at Lilly she was holding a laugh so hard her face turned red.

"Don't tell my brother," she then mouthed at me and I nodded with a smirk and blinked my lashes rapidly at sleeping Asher next to her.

"Gid! No!" she whispered but I returned to driving.

I began the short ride back to Moongrave, where Savannah and Lilly would stay at my place for the night while I would be with Asher.
