Morgan's POV

Morgan Sky Robles is a distinguished professor with an impressive academic background, having studied in London. Raised in a wealthy family with extensive business ventures around the globe, Morgan is now returning to Manila to prepare for her future role in managing the family business. However, driven by a passion for education and a desire to make a meaningful impact, she has chosen to teach at International School Manila. With her sharp intellect and strong leadership skills, Morgan is ready to inspire her students while balancing her family's legacy with her own aspirations. I'm just a 23 year old. The plane landed with a soft thud on the runway, jolting me from my thoughts. Manila. It had been years since I last set foot here, and now, my life was about to change completely. International School Manila—the school my family owned, the empire I was destined to lead—was waiting for me. I stared out of the plane window, watching the familiar but distant cityscape as the sun began to rise.

As the only child of the Robles family, I had always known this day would come. London was where I had built my career as a professor, gaining respect, reputation, and a solid life. But the call came a few months ago, and there was no refusing it. "You're needed in Manila. You'll be managing the school soon. It's time you come home."

I sighed quietly, adjusting the collar of my black blazer. The school needed someone to run it, and apparently, that someone was me.

The first day at International School Manila felt different. Walking through the hallways, I could already sense the way people looked at me—students and staff alike. Whispers, stolen glances, curious stares. I wasn't surprised. Everyone knew about the Robles family. After all, we were one of the most powerful families in the world, with a company that stretched across continents. But that wasn't why I was here. I was here to teach, to shape minds, and to prepare for the inevitable responsibility of taking over the school.

As I made my way to the faculty room, I caught sight of familiar faces. Aiah, Stacey, and Maloi—my best friends. They were all professors here too, which made the transition a little easier. The three of them were waiting for me at the entrance, wide smiles on their faces.

"Welcome back, Professor Robles!" Stacey teased, using my formal title, knowing how much I hated it when she did.

I smirked. "Don't start with me, Stacey."

Aiah chuckled and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "It's good to have you back, Morg. We missed you."

Maloi, the quiet one, simply smiled but her eyes said it all. They had been my friends since childhood, and seeing them here was a small comfort in this sea of unfamiliar faces.

"Ready for your first day?" Aiah asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Ready as I'll ever be," I muttered, pushing open the door to my new classroom.

The First Class:

The room was already half-filled with students when I arrived, all of them chattering and fidgeting nervously. They fell silent the moment I stepped inside, as if a cold wind had blown through the door with me. I had a reputation, I knew that much. Back in London, I was known for my no-nonsense approach. Students feared me, and that fear drove them to perform. I expected nothing less here.

I set my briefcase down on the desk, surveying the room. The silence was almost deafening.

"Good morning," I said, my voice clear and firm. "I am Professor Morgan Robles. This is your class, and I expect excellence from each and every one of you. Nothing less. Understood?"
