Aenyra
Aenyra looked herself over in the mirror with quiet confidence as she slipped into her most revealing dress.
Her hair was styled simply in soft waves that cascaded down her back, with only the top half tied back in a creamy ribbon-just in case anyone asked for her favor.
The gown was a rich, light hue-almost creamy. The fabric elegantly crisscrossed at the front, creating a subtle yet alluring detail that accentuated her hourglass figure while still maintaining an air of modesty. The curve of her hips was on full display, and the low-plunging neckline added a soft touch of femininity without being overly revealing.
A knock at the door pulled her attention away from the mirror.
"Aenyra?" Helaena's voice called gently as she poked her head into the room. "Wow... you look stunning."
Aenyra glanced over her shoulder with a wry smile.
"Oh hi, Helaena. You don't think I look like an upper-class whore from a brothel?" she joked lightly, turning back to examine her reflection.
Helaena stepped further inside, shaking her head. "Nothing about you screams brothel. You look elegant-and mature."
"Thank you," Aenyra said, offering her aunt a smile. "So, to what do I owe the honor of being graced by your presence this morning?"
"I thought I'd come see if you were ready for the tourney," Helaena replied, a soft smile playing on her lips. "I hoped we could walk there together."
"Of course, I'd love that." Aenyra gestured for her to come into the room as she slipped into her shoes. "I hope you don't mind-Jace and Luke were planning to come by and walk with me as well," she added, though she couldn't help but notice the subtle glint in Helaena's eyes at the mention of Jacaerys.
So it wasn't me imagining things last night.
Shaking her head to dismiss the thought, another knock at the door pulled her attention.
"Sister, are you ready?" Lucerys called from the other side.
"Perfect timing. Come, Helaena, let's be off," Aenyra said, intertwining their arms together. As they opened the door, Jace and Luke looked momentarily stunned to see their aunt standing beside her.
Jace gave a nervous chuckle before finally acknowledging them.
"Ah-umm, you both look lovely. Shall we?" he offered, holding his arm out for Helaena.
Is Jace blushing?
Aenyra raised an eyebrow, a suprised smirk forming on her lips. "Looks like I'm with you, Luke," she said, linking arms with her brother.
"You look pretty as always, sister," Luke whispered, giving her a small smile. "But... people are going to talk with you in that dress."
"I ride one of the fiercest and largest dragons in the seven kingdoms, so let them talk," Aenyra said, head held high with confidence.
"That's right, If they can't handle a dragonrider in a beautiful dress, then they don't deserve to be in your presence," Helaena giggled, chiming in after overhearing their hushed conversation.
Aenyra smiled. She liked when Helaena more when she wasn't around Aegon or Alicent-she seemed lighter then, happier, more carefree.
As the four walked closer to the stands where the events were being held, Aenyra's eyes landed on the Baratheon sisters sitting near the top beside their father. Lord Baratheon's gaze swept lustfully over her form before his face twisted into a grimace as she passed.
