𝑨 𝒔𝒖𝒅𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒂𝒄𝒌?

𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

Gemini's car was at 160 speed. He drove along the empty highway which no one uses that much as the other highway is much easier.

Suddenly, another car appeared out of nowhere and Gemini immediately pressed on the brake. His car stopped inches away from the other car.

He got out angrily but when he did, he realized that it was a trap. He was blocked from both  sides. Front and back.

As the men from the cars started to come out, Gemini was thinking what to do.

He was fully surrounded but that doesn't mean that he was not skilled.

He took out his gun and shot each and  every one of the tires and a few men.

But despite their members dying, the others didn't bother to take a step forward or back.

Gemini could sense that something was off; yet, he got into his car and drove off, nearly killed the man standing in front.

He drove fast and checked if anyone was following before turning his car to go to Fourth's house.

He was a Mafia and this type of situation was normal for him. But of course, he didn't want to get Fourth involved.

Meanwhile

Fourth's silent piece was interrupted by a knock on the door.

Clearly knowing who it was, he opened the door and greeted a tired looking Gemini.

"What happened?" Fourth asked as both sat down on the couch.

"I was surrounded by some evil men in the highway." He sighs.

"Are you ok? Are you hurt?" Fourth frantically started looking for any kind of wound.

"I'm fine" He gently but firmly pushed Fourth's hands away.

And it would be a lie if I say that Fourth wasn't offended.

Fourth followed him as Gemini made his way upstairs to the master bedroom.

"Why are you ignoring me?" Fourth called out and placed his hands on Gemini's shoulder.

"I'm not" He spoke a little rudely.

"Gemini"

"What?"  Gemini getting annoyed, turned around and met the other's gaze.

"Did I do something wrong?" He gently asked and Gemini simply shook his head.

"No" Gemini said before stepping out in the balcony.

Fourth, decided to give him space and laid down on the bed and closed his eyes.

Soon, Gemini joined him and wrapped an arm around Fourth's waist, pulling him closer.

"Are you not mad anymore?" Fourth asks, his eyes still closed.

"I was never mad at you. I was just confused and angry at another thing. And I took it out on you. I'm sorry" Gemini gently apologized.

"That's ok. I get it" Fourth smiles, digging his nose deeper into the elder's neck.

Timeskip

Fourth took out his phone and placed in on the table infront of him.

He always records all of his conversations with the people he interviews.

Pressing the play button, he leans back and listens to it.

"Do you know anything about AJ's suicidal case?"

"I was the most distant member among all of us as I would always go around, fucking men and women and being busy while they partied, studied and did all things at once. So no, I don't know that much about AJ. I just know that Ploy left her ex boyfriend for AJ."

As the recording kept going, Fourth started to listen to things he doesn't remember saying.

"Have you ever thought of breaking up or cheating on him?"

"Y-yes..."

Fourth's eyes widen at his own words. I mean he was thinking about it. But never thought he would actually say it to a stranger...

But things got worse. He heard Gemini and Max fighting and threatening each other. And no-no. That's not the worst part. The worst part was when they reached home.

"Stay with me"

"Why would I?"

"Please"

Fourth stopped the recording and was lost in his thoughts.

Why did I forget to turn off the recording. He scolded himself knowing damn well that he was drunk at that time. But that doesn't make a difference!!

His thoughts were interrupted by Gemini.

"Are you humbled yet? He was trying to take advantage of you" He took a sit next to Fourth.

"Ok but why were you mad at me?" Fourth looked at him, genuinely confused.

"Do you seriously not remember what you were mumbling in the car?" Gemini scoffed.

"N-no? I don't even remember mumbling about something."

"You were saying, 'Why did you take me away. I was having fun'. You were repeating it!!"

"O-oh...umm.." Fourth awkwardly laughed.

"Umm..I have to go and interview other people with Ohm."

"Again??!! Are you fucking crazy?"

"Investigation. I meant investigation." Fourth stood up.

"Be careful" Gemini shouted as Fourth shut the door to his bedroom.

Timeskip

Ohm laughed while listening to the recording and Fourth just rolled his eyes.

"Get back to work!!" Fourth said, making Ohm slow down

"This.." He pointed at Fourth's phone, "Is wild" And he started laughing again.

"Fuck you"

"Ok-ok. Is there anything suspicious here?" Ohm returned to his serious mode even though his eyes still had a hint of amusement in them.

"Both Max and Nueng said that Ploy broke up with her ex for AJ. So could it be that...Her ex killed Ploy?" Fourth said and Ohm narrowed his eyes.

"Or...Her ex killed AJ and made the media believe that he killed himself. Maybe He killed AJ and blamed it on a drug overdose.." Ohm said

"Could be both" Fourth said

"If only we could enter Ploy's room..."

"Wait..as long as I remember...my uncle and aunt are going to a family gathering. We could sneak in at that time."

"Are you sure? When is it?"

"I'm sure and it's at night."

"Are you not going? I mean it's a family gathering, no?" Ohm asked and Fourth shook his head.

"No. They invited me but I refused. I don't want to meet them." Fourth looked down and to cheer him up, Ohm took him to his favourite cafe.

It might seem way too fast but remember, there is still the climax part. And also this story is coming to an end.
