𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

And, we are back to interviewing.

Nam. She is our next target.

"She probably works at XXY cafe"

From what my lovely cousin, Love said, our next destination is XXY cafe.

After checking 3 cafes, we finally found her.

Ohm and I were sitting at one of the tables, patiently waiting for Max to finish her shift

Nam, A blond haired, hazel eyed girl. One look, and she can capture many person's heart.

Nam was now wiping her hands on her apron as she was approaching us, swinging her hip to the rhythm of her footsteps.

"So, who are you again?" She stopped right in front of us. Her voice dripping with honey. She was a sweet lady after all.

"Ploy's cousin" Her face dropped a little, but it was gone as soon as it appeared.

"W-what do you want?" She sits down infront of us.

"Some information about Ploy" She furrows her eyebrows

"You know how her case was just dropped. And she never got justice? Yeah, we are running after that now"

"What kind of information do you want?" She asked

"Anything at all. Was she having any conflict with anyone? Do you perhaps have a suspect? Anything will help"

"She was having conflict with someone. She didn't tell us but I kinda figured it out by the look on her face at all time. By the constant fear. She was paranoid at all times. It was like something had tortured her. And no, I don't have a suspect"

Paranoid? Fear? Tortured?

"Anything else you know?"

"Yeah...She had bruises on body. Like intense bruises. Dark and purple. I remember one time, she skipped our usual after school hangout and told us she has to go to a hotel to meet with someone. That day, Prim and Neung was absent as well so, we had to cancel our hangout. Anyways, after coming back from the hotel tho, she had some new bruises. On her arms and legs."

"What hotel was that?"

"Royal Paradise or something. She didn't clearly tell us. It was weird, she didn't tell us what she was doing or what happened but she always told us where she was going and the exact location. It was like she couldn't say what was happening but she gave us clues, like the locations. It was like she was telling us to follow her there and rescue her but at that time, we didn't know"

Damn, it goes deep.

After talking some more, we thanked her and headed out.

"She was tortured" Ohm states

"Yeah...What is next?" We get in the car

"I think we have one more of her friends to interview"

"Prim, right?"

"Yeah"

For today, we are done.

My inside are twisting and turning at the thought of Phuwin coming back home. Tomorrow. He is probably on his flight. He is landing tomorrow.

Yesterday, when I was sitting on Gemini's lap while he covered me in kisses and hickey and spoke sweet and filthy stuffs into my ear, I decided I was gonna end things with Phuwin.

And while I decided that a long time ago, I still had second thoughts.

Gemini adores me and I grew feelings for him too. I fell out of love with Phuwin.

But still, the look on his face when I will tell him that I met someone while he was gone, which is not true by the way, kinda scares me.

A sound of the text notification interrupted my thoughts. It was from Phuwin.

Im getting on my flight now. See you soon.

He is arriving soon. Perhaps tomorrow early morning?

"What happened?" Ohm asked, probably noticing how shaken up I was.

I clear my throat before saying, "Phuwin is coming tomorrow...."

When he stayed silent, I continued

"And uh...I am thinking....I am.. I am gonna end things"

"With?" He asks if that wasn't clear enough.

"Phuwin"

"Good" I look at him, my eyes wide.
"Its the best thing to do, no? You love Gemini. Even a complete stranger would say that. So, it is the best thing for you, Gemini and Phuwin" I nod. At least he understood.

I am grateful to have a friend like Ohm. While Ford and others are my friends, they don't know about Gemini or this investigation. I prefer not to spread it. It is a useless info for others anyway.

After a 15 minutes drive, we arrive at my house.

Ohm gets out as well and surprise, surprise!

A white BMW was parked outside and Gemini and....Mark? I guess... They were talking outside the house.

Gemini spotted me and immediately pushed Ohm out of the way and practically ran to me.

And when I pulled away, I saw Ohm and Mark staring at each other before they both snapped out of it and turned their attention to us.

"I'll go now..." Ohm said before getting into his car and driving away.

"You go too." Mark nodded, got into his car and drove away.

"Why'd you shoo him away? You were working, no?"

"I was working. But now, you came!"

He yapped on and on about how precious I am to him as we entered the house.

"I'll take you out for lunch today. So get ready" My face lit up and I hurried to take a shower.
