When I See You Again: On Hold

Chapter 31

Autumn's P.O.V

I got released from the hospital today and I'm so happy.

I was in there for like four days.

I zone back into reality when I hear Patrick say, "I'll pay for that."

"Patrick. No it's ok. I've got this." I whisper

"It's basically my fault you got bitten by that shark. It was my idea to come here and I wanted you to go in the water. I'll pay." Pat says a little stern

"No Pa-." I was cut off

"Autumn I got this." He snaps back

"Ok, ok." I reply

We walk outside, well I more wobble because I have crutches. I have to have crutches for a little because the shark did take a part of my leg off.

But we walk out side to see Jonathan and Isabelle standing there.

"What are you guys doing here?!" I ask excitedly

I haven't seen Isabelle in like three weeks.

" I called them and told them what happened...... And I guess they wanted to come down to see you." Pat says

"Thanks guys!" I say hugging Jonathan and Isabelle the best I can with crutches

"How are you doing girl?" Isabelle asks

"Pretty good..... I don't really understand the crutches part but they are the doctors, so they do know best." I reply

"You are so strong! I can't imagine going through something like that." She tells me

"Well Pat was a part of why I'm still here. But I guess it was all planned out and I was meant to stay here. This really gave me a different out look on life." I say

"I'm sure I could get through it if Jonathan was by my side. Sounds corny but its the truth. And of course if I had some help from someone up above." Isabelle replies

"Girl I missed you!" I tell Isabelle as I get embraced by a hug

"I've missed you too. You're like my only girlfriend.... I haven't really gotten close with any of the wives yet." She tells me

"Awww same. I have gotten close with some but wait tell the season starts again. We'll make some more girlfriends. Considering we came into our men's lives close to the end of the season." I reassure Isabelle

"Lets just hope." She replies

We arrived home late yesterday and Pat and I just got an invitation to the Bickell's team get together.

I'm excited. It gives me time to get to know some of the wives and girlfriends better.

Hopefully Isabelle will be there so I'm not so out of place.

Pat and I pack are things and get on our way.

It takes us about ten minutes to get to the Bickell's place so we get there just on time.

Pat knocks on the door and I could already hear blaring music in the elevator.

Ok not quite.

But close.

Amanda opens the door and she try's to talk over the music but fails.

That's how loud it was.

I some how get 'come on in' our of all of that.

So we do as we're told.

I look around and immediately know it's going to be along night.

One that has people lying on the floor passed out.

Beer bottles every where.

And throw up on what used to be your clean shirt.

Hey guys sorry for the boring chapter I guess. But it's more of a climax chapter so usually those are boring. Sorry for spelling mistakes too. Also sorry about not updating sooner. I've had basketball camp this whole week and continue to have it tell Friday, so I'll try to update. Thanks for understanding!
