The car came to a gentle stop in front of their mountain resort, nestled among the towering trees and surrounded by a thick blanket of vibrant greenery. The stone-paved driveway crunched softly beneath the tires, and the log cabin-style building looked welcoming and serene against the backdrop of nature. Beast Boy turned off the engine and cast a glance over at Raven, who was already unbuckling her seatbelt with a soft sigh.

"Feeling okay?" he asked, his tone laced with concern as he reached out to brush his fingers gently against her cheek.

Raven offered him a small, reassuring smile, even though she could still feel the lingering queasiness from the car ride. "I'm fine. Just... glad to finally be out of the car."

Beast Boy nodded, watching her carefully as she pushed the car door open and stepped out into the cool mountain air. The moment her feet hit solid ground, she felt the nausea begin to ease. Taking a deep breath, she straightened, letting the fresh air clear her senses. Without having to worry about getting back in the car, she could already feel the lingering discomfort starting to fade.

"Just take it easy, Rae," Beast Boy said softly, climbing out of the car and coming around to join her. He placed a gentle hand on her lower back, his touch light and comforting. "We've got all the time in the world."

Raven nodded, leaning into him briefly before stepping forward. "I know, but I'm fine now." She glanced at the luggage in the trunk and waved her hand with a subtle motion. A dark purple aura enveloped the suitcases, lifting them effortlessly into the air. "Let's get settled in, and then we can relax."

Beast Boy grinned, watching her work her magic with ease. "Show off," he teased lightly, his voice warm and affectionate. He couldn't help but marvel at the way she managed to handle everything with such grace, even when she wasn't feeling her best.

Raven arched an eyebrow, a hint of mischief in her gaze. "Jealous?"

"Always." Beast Boy's smile widened, and he reached over to ruffle her hair playfully, earning a half-hearted glare from Raven. "But hey, I can still carry the bags the old-fashioned way if you want to take it easy."

Raven shook her head, her lips twitching with a faint smile. "No need. Let's just get inside."

Together, they made their way up the stone path that led to the entrance of their private cabin. The resort was everything Beast Boy had promised—a luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of the mountains, complete with private pools for each resident and stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. He'd made sure to get one of the best cabins available, determined to give them the most relaxing, unforgettable experience possible.

"Better way to spend the family fortune, right?" he'd joked when they'd booked the trip, and Raven had only rolled her eyes, secretly touched by how much thought he'd put into everything.

Once they reached the front door, Raven set the bags down and glanced around, taking in the rustic yet elegant design of the cabin. The wooden beams and large windows gave it a cozy, welcoming feel, and she could already see the shimmering surface of their private pool just beyond the patio.

Beast Boy unlocked the door and pushed it open, gesturing for her to step inside first. "Welcome to our home away from home, m'lady," he said with an exaggerated bow, his green eyes twinkling with humor.

Raven couldn't help but smile as she stepped inside, the cool interior a welcome contrast to the warmth of the day outside. "You're ridiculous," she murmured, but there was no bite to her words—only fondness.

They made quick work of settling in, placing their bags in the bedroom and taking a few moments to admire the cabin's layout. Everything was tastefully decorated, with plush furniture and soft lighting that created a perfect atmosphere for relaxation.

Once they were done, Raven turned to Beast Boy, a playful glint in her eyes. "I suppose I should thank you for going all out with this place," she said, stepping closer to him.

Beast Boy raised an eyebrow, a grin already forming on his lips. "Oh? And how exactly were you planning to thank me?"

Raven didn't answer right away. Instead, she leaned up and captured his lips in a gentle, lingering kiss, her hands sliding up to rest on his shoulders. Beast Boy's eyes widened slightly in surprise before they fluttered shut, and he immediately melted into the kiss, his arms wrapping around her waist and pulling her closer.

The kiss deepened, slow and unhurried, and for a few precious moments, there was nothing else but the two of them. Raven's fingers threaded through his hair, and Beast Boy responded by tilting his head, angling his mouth against hers as he lost himself in the feel of her lips, her warmth, her presence.

When they finally pulled back, both of them were slightly breathless. Beast Boy's gaze was soft, his eyes searching hers as if trying to memorize every detail of her expression.

"I think that's a pretty good thank you," he murmured, his voice husky and low.

Raven smirked, her hands still resting on his shoulders. "I'm not done yet." She leaned in again, brushing her lips against his in another kiss, this one lighter, more teasing. Beast Boy's grip on her waist tightened, and he was just about to kiss her back when—

Knock, knock, knock.

They both froze, blinking at each other in confusion before turning toward the door. The knocking continued, followed by a cheerful voice calling out, "Good afternoon! Just here to make sure you've settled in and to let you know about our amenities and activities!"

Raven sighed softly, her forehead resting against Beast Boy's chest. "Figures. I should've known we wouldn't be able to get through our first hour here without interruptions."

Beast Boy chuckled, pressing a quick kiss to the top of her head. "I'll get it." He reluctantly let her go and moved to open the door, revealing a friendly staff member standing outside, holding a clipboard and wearing a polite smile.

"Hello! I just wanted to make sure everything's to your liking so far," the staff member said brightly, glancing past Beast Boy to take in the interior of the cabin. "We also wanted to let you know about some of the activities we have available—guided hikes, spa services, private dining experiences—"

"Thank you, everything's great," Beast Boy said, smiling warmly. "We're still getting settled, but it all looks perfect so far."

The staff member beamed. "Wonderful! If you need anything at all, don't hesitate to call the front desk. Enjoy your stay!" With a final wave, the staff member turned and left, leaving Beast Boy to close the door behind them.

He turned back to Raven, a playful grin tugging at his lips. "Now... where were we?"

Raven crossed her arms, a teasing smile playing on her own lips. "You were about to finish thanking me properly, I believe."

Beast Boy's grin widened as he stepped forward, his eyes never leaving hers. "Oh, I can do a lot more than that, babe."

But before he could make good on his words, Raven placed a hand on his chest, stopping him gently. "Later," she murmured, though there was no denying the heat in her gaze. "I want to check out the pool first."

"Pool it is, then." Beast Boy leaned down, brushing his lips against hers one last time before stepping back. "But don't think I'm done thanking you yet."

Raven's laughter was soft and full of affection as she turned and headed toward the patio, Beast Boy following close behind.

They still had plenty of time, after all.
