The sun was setting over Jump City, casting a warm orange glow across the tower. Raven and Beast Boy stood outside on the rooftop, enjoying the soft breeze as they watched the sky change from vibrant blues to deep pinks. It was one of those rare quiet evenings where nothing demanded their attention, a peaceful moment in a life that was usually filled with chaos.

Beast Boy leaned back against the ledge, arms crossed, a playful smirk tugging at his lips. He'd always loved these moments with Raven, but tonight, there was something particularly amusing on his mind. He towered over her just slightly, enough to make a difference, and he had noticed her subtle frustration every time she tried to kiss him without warning. Raven always hated being obvious or predictable, and that little height difference was a persistent obstacle in her way.

As they stood there in comfortable silence, Raven turned her head to look at him. Something soft and thoughtful passed through her violet eyes, a silent cue that she was about to do something—something sweet. Beast Boy's smirk grew just a little, his mischievous mind already guessing what that "something" was.

Without saying a word, Raven made her move. She took a small step closer, intending to press a kiss to his lips. But, as always, she had to tilt her head up slightly and tiptoe to bridge the height gap. Beast Boy, being Beast Boy, saw his opportunity.

Just as Raven rose on her toes, he leaned back ever so slightly, enough to keep her just out of reach. He made it look casual, as if he didn't notice her attempt. Raven blinked, her lips parting in mild confusion as she realized she was just shy of her target. She dropped back onto her feet and shot him a suspicious glance.

"You did that on purpose," she said flatly, her arms crossing over her chest.

Beast Boy chuckled, the playful gleam in his eyes impossible to miss. "Did what?"

Raven's eyes narrowed. She wasn't about to play this game, but he always knew how to push just the right buttons. "You're impossible."

With a sigh, she turned away, pretending as if she'd lost interest in kissing him entirely. But Beast Boy, still leaning casually against the ledge, wasn't done teasing her. He could tell she wanted another attempt, and there was no way he'd make it easy.

"Hey," he called, his voice full of lighthearted teasing. "You know, I can always shrink down to your size if you want. Maybe turn into a mouse or something? That'd solve your problem."

Raven stopped mid-step and turned her head slowly to give him a withering look. "I'm perfectly fine with the way things are, thanks."

Beast Boy laughed, pushing himself off the ledge and walking toward her, his hands in his pockets. He loved that look on her—half annoyed, half amused. It was the perfect balance that kept their banter going.

"Are you, though?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "I mean, you keep trying to kiss me and falling just a little short."

Raven rolled her eyes. "I'm not short."

"You're kinda short."

"I'm taller than that girl we saw at the park" Raven said reminding him about the little girl in the park.

beastboy laughed and pulled her closer with an arm around her neck "babe she's a kid..she was probably in 3rd grade. you are short"

"I'm average height."

"For who? The Titans?"

She huffed, trying to ignore him, but a tiny smile tugged at the corner of her lips. She wouldn't give him the satisfaction of knowing he was getting to her, but of course, he already knew.

Beast Boy stopped in front of her, his playful expression softening just a little as he looked down at her. "Okay, okay, I'll stop teasing you. You want a kiss?"

Raven raised an eyebrow, pretending to think about it. "Maybe."

"Well, lucky for you," he said, leaning down just enough so their faces were level, "I'm in a generous mood."

Just as their lips were about to meet, he stood up straight again, pulling away with a cheeky grin. "Oops."

Raven's eyes widened, her expression caught between surprise and irritation. "Garfield!!."

He laughed, unable to contain himself. "Okay, okay! I'm done this time. Promise."

She glared at him, her patience running thin. "If you don't stop, I'll—"

Before she could finish the threat, Beast Boy swooped down and caught her off guard, pulling her close and pressing his lips to hers in a sweet, lingering kiss. His hands rested gently on her waist, and her arms, despite her earlier frustration, found their way around his neck.Beast Boy pulled back and rested his forehead against her, Raven tip toed and pulled him for another kiss ,this time Gar didn't do anything but kissed her back harder with more passionate.

For a few moments, there was no teasing, no banter—just the soft warmth of his lips on hers. When they finally pulled apart, Beast Boy rested his forehead against hers, his eyes shining with affection.

"You know," he whispered, "I only tease you because I love you."

Raven rolled her eyes, but her lips curved into a small, genuine smile. "I know."

He grinned, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Plus, you're adorable when you're annoyed."

She let out a soft sigh, shaking her head, though the smile never left her face. "One of these days, I'll get you back for all the teasing."

Beast Boy raised his hands in mock surrender. "I look forward to it, babe."

As they stood together under the fading sunset, the world around them fading into the background, Raven finally relaxed, leaning into his chest. Despite all the teasing, all the jokes, she knew that with him, she always had a place to land, even if she had to tiptoe to reach it.
