Sum- (Y/n) remembered the first time she saw her younger brother. His golden hair matched his golden eyes, shining with admiration for her and her twin. He was a golden ray of light, her parents said. He was always the first choice. And she was the one who would always be replaced. That wasn't a surprise to her. That didn't mean it still didn't hurt.
Or, a brother slowly breaks his sister (accidentally)
pls enjoy even tho this is probably the most trashy chapter I've ever wrote
Also hi Tubs
(Y/n) remembered the first time she saw her younger brother. His golden hair matched his golden eyes, shining with admiration for her and her twin. He was a golden ray of light, her parents said. He was always the first choice. And she was the one who would always be replaced. That wasn't a surprise to her. That didn't mean it still didn't hurt. She had always been shouted at by her parents, by the ones who were supposed to cherish her. Love her. Be there for her. But they weren't. Not like (Y/n) would complain, they sucked at their jobs. She wouldn't cry in front of them.
In front of Tommy, though, that was a different story.
Wilbur had told her of the prince's birth. He was almost dead even before he lived.
That was a mortal's fate, was it not?
(Y/n) once lost her family.
Now she lost another one.
'~~~--------------------~~~'
(Y/n) walked through the valley, her heart numb and her breath cold. She couldn't stare at Tommy's corpse even if she wanted to. Her tears, bloodied as they were fourteen hours before, were left on her face, streaked with the dirt and soil of battle. She wanted to scream at the ground, to beg for it to give back her family. But her lungs were out of air.
Seven hours ago, she had taken off her armor. Her injuries were far worse than she could've imagined, gashes here and there, cuts up and down, bruises left and right. Did it matter?
No. No it didn't. Because her younger brother died for the second time and there was nothing she could do about it.
She forced her legs to keep moving, to look for the stragglers. (Y/n) wondered if the Captain, that one flowershop keeper, even Toby, was alive. And then she saw the familiar brunette.
"Toby!" she cried out, her voice almost silent with the air she had lost when grieving. He still heard her. Turning, he ran towards her, hugging her tightly.
"(Y/n), you're alive!" he exclaimed, clinging to her like a lifeline.
"Nice to see you too," she said weakly, forcing her arms to move, to wrap around the boy who so desperately needed her comfort.
"I'm glad you're okay," he responded, pulling away a bit. "But... you're so injured ..."
"I'm alright, Tubbo," she comforted, using the nickname she had come up with for him.
"Let's get you back to camp and bandaged up," the teen ordered.
"Fine," she mumbled. Guess she has to look at a corpse again.
'~~~--------------------~~~'
When (Y/n) had returned to Wilbur's tent, he and Techno were facing each other, threatening each other with hatred in their eyes.
'Just like Brother and Mother and Father before he left,' she thought, forcing herself to walk into the fluttering shelter.
"Always choosing violence at every turn," Wilbur hissed.
