~ RACHEL'S POV

Waking up from bed, I stretch my arms and my gaze lands on a note sitting on the empty side of Richie's bed. I reach my hand to grab it and as I did, I open it and read it. It says

"I wouldn't wish for anything other than waking up to see you sleeping. But you know how the world is screwed; duty called. I have a lot of work piled up on my desk ready for me to dive into but you don't have to worry about that, as a matter of fact, I think you should take some rest and enjoy the day. I promise I will be back soon, just for you. Love Richie"

I roll my eyes in annoyance as I toss the note. This man is good with his words, I could fall for him if my heart isn't determined to hate him so much.

I slum back onto the bed wanting to have some more of that sleep but at last, I had to wake up by the sound of my ringtone. I decide not the respond to the call but when it rings for the second time. I grunt reaching to pick it up. Glancing at the screen, I immediately sit up as a thrilling anticipation runs through me. The caller ID says "designer" but it's not my designer but the man I hired to make research on Richie's drug dealer. I had his number saved as my designer so no one gets suspicious of anything.

"Hello." I answer, my voice barely above a whisper because I just woke up. I clear my throat before I repeat the greeting "Good morning."

"Good morning." He says; his voice is profound and I can tell he's about to give me the best news I can ever hope for.

"You have any information?" I ask, impatiently

"Indeed I do, Ma'am." He responds. He calls me ma'am because we are not allowed to mention names whatsoever. He takes a second before he continues talking "The drug supplier has been found. He is a Chinese citizen and is known by the name of Lai Shenyang. He does illegal possession of firearms and I believe he's an escaped terrorist member."

"Really!" I exclaim. I didn't see that coming.

"Yes, he's on a high note of most wanted men in the states."

"Ohh, well.... um, do you have any evidence for his involvement or something like that?" I ask. I can't mention Richie's name on the phone, that's the policy.

"I do but sadly, the proof I have with me isn't enough. I need more evidence to get the job done."

"How long is that going to take you to get the job done?"

"It's not up to me but up to you. All I need are photos or screenshots of his transactions, not necessarily with his signature on them but if so, it will be much better,"

"I don't know if I can get it soon enough but I  will try today," I respond heavily. This is great, just when I am happy that I will stay home, something has to come up and now I have to go to work. I think Richie still has those papers in his office so I just have to go there and get them.

"That's great. I will have to end the call now to avoid being tracked." He says

"Okay," I respond before he ends the call. He is Rebecca's friend, Cater. He runs all this tracking team and stuff like that. He is very professional when doing business with him. I plan to make him my main tracker because he's good at his job and he's trustworthy.
