"Do you want me to go with you?" Elena asked as she was helping Stefan with his tie. It had been three days since he got the news of his wife's death. He was officially a widow. He barely spoke to anyone, well there wasn't much people left for him to talk anyway. But he also didn't want to talk to Elena. Elena was there for him but he kept his distance. Elena understood that he needed some space. So, she just came to check up on him if he needed something.

Stefan cleared his throat. "They wouldn't like to see you there." Stefan said to Elena. It was the truth. He was cheating on his late wife with Elena. Elena sighed. "Yeah! I know." She said sadly. Elena put his hand on Stefan's coat and let it run a few inches down and then took her hands back. "All done." She said. She wanted to tell him that she and Damon were moving to Florida on Friday. But she thought it was better for her to say to Stefan after he returned from the funeral.

"I'll see you later." Stefan said kissing her forehead and left his lips linger there for a moment. Elena closed her eyes to feel it. It felt good to feel the soft intimacy from him.

As Elena came back from Stefan's house, she found Damon sitting on the couch, working on his laptop. "Lover didn't take you with him?" He said looking at the screen, smirking. Elena groaned. She was feeling dizzy and tired. She also lost her appetite and she threw up this morning.

She chose not to say anything to him. She started to walk to upstairs. "Have you told him yet? We're moving?" He asked. Elena stopped at the middle of the stairs. "I'll tell him." She said sadly as she started to climb again.

She laid on the bed as she was feeling too disgusting. She was feeling restless for the past two weeks but morning sickness and losing appetite were also making her lose her shit. She needed to see a doctor. She booked an appointment and closed her eyes. Maybe sleeping would help her for a bit.

He didn't walk away from the grave after the ceremony ended. Memories started to flash in his head, how he was happy with her and kids. Then, he left with nothing. His boys were gone. His wife was gone. He lost his mother when he was 3. Father abandoned him. His brother moved when he was 13. He was left to raise by his grandma whom he lost when he was 14. Then he met Caroline and then she was gone. Tears started to fall from his eyes.

He heard foot steps coming from behind. "I never stopped loving her." He said. She came and stood next to him. "I know, Stefan. I know you loved her." Lexi said, as a tear fell from her eye too. "It's my fault she's gone. If I haven't moved her from you, she would have been alive. I couldn't take care of her. I'm sorry." Lexi said sadly. Stefan held her hand. "We both are." He said smiling softly at her. Both eyes were watery. They both lost their precious thing.

Stefan came back home around 9 pm. He found Elena on the couch, going through some magazine she found on the table.

"Hey." Stefan said softly. Elena looked up and stood up. "Hey! How was it?" Both came to hug each other. "It was okay." Stefan exhaled loudly as he held her. Elena closed her eyes.

"I need to talk to you about something." Elena said to him. Stefan furrowed his eyebrows at her. "What is it?" He asked. Elena closed her eyes and licked her lips. "Damon and I are moving to Florida." She said. Stefan furrowed his eyebrows even more. "What, why?" He asked in concern.

Elena looked frustrated as she said "Something to do with his company. It's facing loss and he didn't want it to go down. He'll be bankrupted so he's making me move along with him."

"Okay? For how long?" He asked holding Elena's hand. Elena started to cry. "Forever." Her voice broke.

Stefan looked lower. "That's not good." He said taking her in his arms. Elena sobbed into his arms. She inhaled deeply but quickly her eyes popped when an idea came to her head. She broke the hug.

"Come with me." She said excitedly but in a sad way. "Wait, what!" He asked. Elena wiped her tears quickly. "There's nothing left for you to stay here and you.. you could settle your business over there.. and you know we would be together and..." But Stefan stopped her in the middle.

"Elena, this is insane. I've invested millions to move in here. I can't just leave everything like that." He said. It was true. He only wanted to live with his wife, took care of her. He invested good amount of money in business and started to build it here. But God had some other plans for him. Or maybe Devil's plan.

"I know." She held Stefan's hands. "But you could settle there too. You could build it again. Damon and I'll help you..." He again stopped her.

"Elena, you think I want help from your loser husband. You've go to be kidding me." He said, kinda offended that she thought his lover could use her husband's money. He was taking few step backwards. Elena looked tensed.

"Stefan." She called him softly. "No, Elena. You listen to me. What you're saying makes no sense. I can't let go of my life just like that." He said a little louder.

"What about me? Just think about it. We can be together and do whatever we want to do. We can build a life together." She said with a little pleading smile.

"And keep fucking?" He said showing his finger back and forth. All we do is fuck. We're not couple. I'm a widow and you're cheating with me on your husband. You think this is healthy? And good thing to do?" He said angrily.

"I can't believe you just said that." Elena felt offended. Stefan nodded his head. "Yeah. You're a literal muppet to your husband. You aren't happy with him that's why you came to me. But if he said you to sit, you sit. I mean fucking hell you're moving to Florida because he said so. Are you hearing yourself? And you want to bring a sex toy with you, who's me?" Stefan yelled.

"That's not what it is. Why are you being an asshole?" Elena screamed too. "Then leave him. Prove me wrong. Divorce him and be with me. Live here with me." He said making every word cleared.

Elena swallowed as she kept looking straight at Stefan.
