"Reputation? Are you okay?" I heard a soft voice asking, so close to me yet sounding so distant at the same time.

I squinted my eyes a couple times before opening them fully, realizing I was laying on the bathroom floor with the same blonde haired girl from earlier knelt over me.

"Hey, you're awake" She smiled softly.

Someone saw me passed out on the schools bathroom floor. Great.

"Yeah yeah, I'm fine" I sit up, trying to ignore the pain that shoots through my head when I do so.

"Be careful, you were out for a good couple minutes. Take it easy" she reaches her hand out to help me up.

Yeah right, like I'm being that vulnerable with some random girl I've never seen before. Like I'm being that vulnerable with anyone.

"I'm fine, seriously. Just go back to class, freshman"

"I'm a junior"

She's in my grade? How come I've never seen her before?

"You new or something?"

"Yep, first day"

"K, well listen here you little misfit" I eye her bright pink and blue hair tips and sparkly jacket. "I'll let you off with a warning since you're a newbie, but next time you see me, just leave me alone, got it? I don't talk to you, you don't talk to me, the world keeps spinning and life moves on. Got that?

"But why don-"

"Ah," I cut her off, "That starts now, see you around, misfit"

I stand up and walk out of the bathroom, trying to look cool and casual as if I hadn't just fainted on the bathroom floor.

Thankfully, it was the end of the day, so I got on the bus just a couple minutes later.

40 minutes of being antagonized by 3rd graders later, my bus dropped me off in front of my house.

Seeing my parents cars in the driveway, I took a deep breath and walked inside.

"You're late"

"I can't help what time the bus drops me off. Some kid missed his stop and we had to go back"

"Excuses, excuses. Go clean the garage. Your dad and I are having friends over tonight, so the garage needs to be clean."

I know better than to argue with her, so I put my backpack in my room and head into the garage.

"Holy shit" I muttered to myself.

Beer bottles everywhere. Beer crusted to the floor. Trash bags all over the place, some ripped open. Random tools sprawled out.

This is gonna be fun.

After standing there for a minute or two thinking about how much I just wanna kill myself and not do this, I walked inside and grabbed a couple trash bags, along with some soapy water and a scrubbing brush, and begrudgingly went back into the garage.

For about 15 minutes, I picked up the random things on the floor and put them away. Then, I moved onto putting all the ripped open trash bags into a new bag, along with the beer bottles on the floor, then taking those out to the trash bins at the front of the house.

Now I just have to scrape up all the crusted beer off the floor.

Should be easy enough, right?

"REP HURRY UP YOUVE BEEN IN THERE FOR 20 MINUTES!"

"This garage is a mess! Getting most of it done in 20 minutes is an achievement"

"What would be an achievement is if you'd stop being a failure and just get it done"

"K whatever you say mom" I yelled back at her from the other side of the garage door, then rolled my eyes and knelt down on the floor with a bucket of soapy water and a brush.

Damn, this is really sticking to the floor.

I spent 10 minutes trying to clean that one spot. I eventually got it, but it took much longer than I had hoped.

After 20ish minutes of scrubbing beer off of the floor, I started to feel lightheaded, the same way I did earlier.

Just ignore it, you'll be fine.

As I kept cleaning, the dizziness and weakness got stronger.

Oh my god just go away.

I tried to just clean it quickly and ignore the feeling in my head, but there was no use.

Shit shit shit.

My vision got fuzzy for a couple seconds before I blacked out on the cold, sticky floor.

(About 10 minutes later, narrators POV)

"REPUTATION" her mom stormed into the garage, her dad following right behind.

"She's fucking asleep, I can't believe this retard" she crossed her arms, looking down on Rep's still body with cold eyes.

"I'll wake her up" her dad replied before kicking Rep hard in the shoulder.

A couple hard kicks later, Rep regained consciousness.

"Well it's about time you woke up you fucking cunt"

"Mom I blacked out-" Rep tried to explain, even though she knew she wouldn't be believed.

"Mhm, whatever. Get this done in the next 15 minutes or else" her mom said before they both walked back into the house, leaving Rep shaking on the ground.

(Back to Rep's POV)

I lied there for a couple minutes to regain my strength and not blackout again before slowly sitting up.

"Ow shit" I jumped as I used my arm to prop myself up, grabbing my shoulder.

Knowing that I'd be hurt ten times worse than that if I didn't get this done, I pushed through the pain and cleaned the last few spots before going back inside.

"It's done" I said as I walked towards the freezer to grab an ice pack before going into my room.

I laid down on my bed, breathing heavily and slightly shaking. I winced as I pressed the ice pack against my shoulder.

I don't know when I fell asleep, but I must have at some point, because I woke up around 11 at night to laughter coming from the garage.

Oh yeah, their stupid friends.

I groaned as I heard the loud voices coming from the garage.

No matter how hard I tried, how desperately I wanted to, I didn't get any more sleep that night.
