Two More Stones

EVERYONE SCREAMED as Tang found difficulty to teleport you to safety, but it was better than facing Ne Zha's father and get caged in that Pagoda. You on the other hand just remained calm and stuffed between them, this wasn't actually the worst thing you ever faced.

"Tang! Do you have a plan?!" Mei exclaimed with worry while shaking Tang.

"I don't know! I don't know! l don't know!" The man was freaking out as small tears formed in his eyes. Pigsy also started to shake Tang in panic, "Get a grip!" He yelled too. Suddenly, the golden ball that held you and your friends in approached a mountain, dragging you all to collide in it. Mk raised his hand and a mystic symbol formed on the mountain, creating an entryway. You gracefully landed on your feet while the others hit the ground harshly. Mei was the first one to jump up with her sword in hand, "What's going on? Where are we?" She questioned while looking around the dark cave.

"That's strange, this cave has no entrance other than the one we got through. Odd." You spoke up as you moved forward. Just then, the place was lit up by torches, illuminating your path. You could see two creatures, a tiger and a dragon. Tang suddenly started to squeal in awe, "Secret temple!" He exclaimed while slightly bouncing.

"Look! There's a dragon and a tiger in this temple." Mei suddenly gasped in excitement, "Isn't this... ls this... It's time!" She was very excited to get her adventure with Mk, but the boy just ignored her and went to help Monkey King which seemed to irritating the dragon girl.

"Monkey King. Are you ok?" Mk asked.

"l'm okay!"

"LET ME FINISH!" Mei yelled at Wukong before she turned to Mk with a smile, "Mk, look! Am not I right? it's like said." She stated then started to drag Mk with her, "Now's the time for the jackfruit duo to make their debut again! You guys better move to the back and let us deal with this." With that being said, Mei went far ahead from you all. You blinked a few times and shrugged your shoulders, "I'm going with them." You mumbled and went after them just in case they mess up or something.

As you followed them, you were met with an actual dragon and tiger, these were the guardians of the stones. However, their bodys were fading slowly, "Very good. Right before our time has come. We've been waiting for you." The dragon guardian spoke up first.

"What... What's wrong? You're..." Mk trailed off, not knowing how describe what he was seeing.

"Our life span is ending soon. The cycle has already started and it's almost finished. If you want the stones, Just take them." The tiger guardian stated rather calmly.

Mei frowned in disappointment, "No no no! What about your trial? Where's the test papers? What challenges have you prepared for me and MK?" She questioned in hopes she would get an adventure like Sandy and Wukong. The tiger guardian closed his eyes, "There's no time for a trial. It seems the Grand Cycle is about to end sooner than planned. But before that, you still have a chance." He vagally explain, looking up at ceiling of the temple.

"What you need to do, you already know it clearly." The dragon guardian stated.

You saw Mk clenching his fists tightly, "Is he hiding something?" You thought as you kept your gaze at the boy who seemed very distressed for some reason.

"I don't understand." Pigsy pointed out.

"Yes. What you just said was totally uninstructive!" Tang added with a mix of confusion and worry. Just then, the temple started to shake slightly as the two guardians began to disappear further, "A small spoiler maybe? Just a little." Sandy spoke up, hoping that the two creatures would explain quickly before thry disappear.

"The Pillar must be restored."

And just like that, the guardians had disappeared. The green and white stones were then given to Mk after that, "Is that the end of Jackfruit duo's adventures? That's so boring! MK. What... What they were saying? You didn't understand either, right?" Mei asked him. Mk looked at her then smiled sadly, "One more to go." He told her, but you knew something was off.

"Mk, what did they mean by you knowing what to do to restore the pillar?" You straightforward asked him, your expression unreadable. The said boy looked at you with hesitation, not knowing if he must tell you or not, "Y-Y/N, it's just-" Before he could finish his sentence, the wall of the temple was destroyed. Li Jing, Ne Zha's father, made his appearance, "This ends now!" As he said that, Wukong moved to attack him. However, Li Jing tightened the circlet on Wukong's head, making the monkey yell in pain. You were about to attack him, but Li Jing used his Pagoda to trap all of you in.

The strong pull of the object started to slowly drag you all toward it, "We have to go!" Pigsy yelled while trying to reach Mk who was standing there without moving.

"Mk! What are you doing?" Monkey King asked, still struggling with the circlet. You moved forward and grabbed his hand, "Mk, don't tell me that-" You were cut off when he pulled his hand from your grasp. Mk looked at you, his face showed determination, "Do you trust me?" Upon hearing his question, you didn't know what else to say. So, you just let him do whatever he saw fit.

Taking a few steps forward, Mk leaped to the Pagoda. You gritted your teeth in irritation before you decided to follow after him into the prison. Soon after you, the others followed suit. Before you know it, you were falling deep into the prison and even your outfits were different. You landed down your feet and the others crushed down, like usual. You stared around the place, noticing how big it was.

"Mk! Why didn't you let everyone run away just now?" You turned your head when you heard Pigsy ask Mk.

"I know where the fifth stone is." He stated firmly.

"What? How do you know?" You and Mei asked in unison.

"When the Jade Emperor's power was... Absorbed by Azure, we and NeZha sealed it."

Pigsy raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms, "What does this have to with the stones?"

"I think I figured it out. The Jade Emperor's power is the fifth stone. Right now Li Jing is protecting it. He'd definitely keep it in the safest place. The Jade Emperor's power, which is the fifth stone, is definitely in... this Pagoda!"

Hello guys! I hope you enjoyed the chapter! So, I was think of making the main love interest as only Mk. I believe the story focused more on Mk x Reader than Redson x Reader. However, I'm going to ship Mei and Redson if I decide to remove him from being a love interest as well.
