YOU KEPT ON listening to Mk who was explaining how the Jade Emperor was the fifth guardian to the last stone. Ne Zha previously protected the Jade Emperor's powers which was in fact the last stone. Now that Li Jing became the temporary emperor, the powers was probably kept in his position in this endless prison.

Eventually, you all decided to explore the Pagoda to find the stone. However, it was nowhere to be found. For hours to no end you and your friends continued the search yet no clues related to the whereabouts of the stone was found. It had so many doors everywhere even on the walls, taking you to random places. Right now, you were watching Mei chasing after a demon to get answers from him. She fell from a door on the ceiling and growled in frustration, "THIS PAGODA IS TOO COMPLICATED!!" Mei started to shout in frustration which made laugh.

Mei stormed toward him angrily, "You're still laughing! You know, we've been trapped in Li Jing's pagoda for so long! Let me summarized, bringing everyone here is the dumbest thing MK have ever done." She scolded him, having a dangerous smile on her face while holding her fist up which offended Mk.

"Mei! That's the dumbest thing you've ever SEEN him do." Wukong stepped in and you facepalmed by his statement that didn't help to ease the situation.

"Hey! Uh- What?"

Mei clenched her fists tightly, "Look! First we have to be stuck in this pagoda alongside the ruthless demons imprisoned by Li Jing. Second, we have to look for the Jade Emperors's power, but we're not even sure if it's actually here! And even if we find it, it might not even be one of the stones! Really dumb." The dragon girl stated and folded her arms over her chest.

"In my opinion..." Tang who was nervous the entire time spoke up, "This time, MK, you were too impulsive." The man stated while trying not to hurt Mk's feelings. Meanwhile, you felt a sudden presence near you... as if someone watching you, "This- I uh-" Mk at first didn't know what to say or what excuses to come up with, but he was sure that his plan was right, "I wasn't impulsive! I firmly believe that my perception of Wukong isn't wrong! The Jade Emperor's power is here! And it's definitely... A colored stone." He reasoned, hoping that his friends would believe him. You walked toward him and put your hand on his shoulder, "I trust you, Mk. I also think that it's logical that the Jade Emperor's power is the fifth stone." You assured him with a smile, making Mk relieved that you trusted him deeply.

Pigsy sighed and rubbed his temple, "Uh- MK, you're not really convincing."

"It looks like have no choice to use my ultimate move. Tang! Gimme your glasses!" Mk exclaimed and took Tang's glasses from him which startled the guy, "A long time ago-" Mk couldn't finish his sentence when Tang cut him off.

"Why are you doing this?"

"Sorry. Sometimes to explain something clear. You must..." Mei spoke up before proceeding to imitate Tang as well, "There once was a legend..."

"The tales of old are true." Pigsy joined.

"Very old." Sandy spoke up.

"The story king is here!" Monkey King went on with the flow.

"It helps everyone." You said while shrugging your shoulders.

Mk then continued his explanation, "Long ago, the five colored stones were used to repair the Pillar of Heaven. This was done to prevent chaos from engulfing the world. Each stone is watched by a mythical beast. But the more stones we get, the cracks in the sky keep getting bigger and bigger. When did the cracks start appearing? When Azure replaced the Jade Emperor! This proves that the Jade Emperor's power is the fifth stone! And that... is the most important thing!" When he finished telling the story, everyone went quiet and Mk sweatdropped upon knowing that his friends didn't understand, but you actually did understand.

You moved forward to stand beside Mk, "I think I got it. The Jade Emperor was also guarding a stone! And he was the strongest guardian! But he lost all his power. Li Jing, once getting the stone, would've definitely hidden it in the safest place. Which is... Here. Right?" You tried to make Mk's explanation more simple. He nodded his with a smile of gratitude.

Tang sighed and fixed his glasses, "E-Even if what you said is right and you didn't imitate me at all." He whispered the last part to himself.

"I thought you looked the same!" Mei stated with sparkling eyes.

"And we find the stone in the pagoda. That's like looking for a needle in a haystack!" Tang yelled loudly in panic, his voice echoing throughout the hallways of the Pagoda. Pigsy also looked slightly displeased with what Mk and you had said, "There's another problem. Even if we find the stone, how will we escape?" He pointed out.

"One step at a time right? "A journey of a thousand miles beings with a single step" right? Guys! think the stone might be hidden at the top of the pagoda!"

Suddenly, the feeling of being watched returned to you again and this time it was coming from behind you. You turned around to see if there was a demon going to attack you, but you found none, "Something is wrong here. A demon is watching, but there's nothing." You thought with a frown on your face.

"MK wait!" The voice of Mei rang in your ears. You saw Mk using the staff to shoot himself high up to the higher floors of the Pagoda. You didn't waste time and chased after him, jumping from one floor to another to reach him. However, he was way too faster than you.

Unbeknownst to you that you left your friends behind with a dangerous being.
