Chapter 12

"WHOA!" Mercury yowled in complete shock. Earth cared so much about his earthlings, and now he is wishing he never had them. Mercury can see the horrified expression on Venus face before it went back to scowling. "ARE YOU STUPID?! HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?" Venus snarled at Earth, not believing that Earth would give up the chance of life. 

"I DON'T CARE!" Earth snalred, getting up and glareing at Venus. "THEY WANTED TO LEAVE ME FOR A WHILE NOW, WHEN THEY HAVE EVERYTHING THEY NEEDED ON MY SURFECE!" Earth hissed, making Venus flinch. Mercury was stuning Venus very flinched like that before... "SO I THOUGHT I CANT SPEED UP THE PROSSES," Earth contined, but this time Venus cut him off. "What do you mean speed up the process?" Venus snarled. Mercury went over to Venus side. "What do you mean, earth?" Mercury asked. Earth looked like he was about to burst into tears again. "I... I WAS HEADING TOWARDS THE SUN," Earth cryed out. 

Mercury was stunned into silence, his mind realizing Earth was trying to... Venus recovered quicker than Mercury. "ARE YOU CRAZY?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT, YOU DINGUS!?" Venus hissed a hint of concern in his voice. Earth hissed back at Venus, "BECAUSE IT WAS THE ONLY RIGHT THING TO DO!" Earth shot back. Venus looked ferocious when Earth said that and was about to chew out Earth for such a stupid idea when Mercury cut in. "Earth, think about it! If you headed to the sun, you and your earthlings would be dead. What about Mars?" Mercury spoke before adding, "What about your moon... He would never forgive himself if you died!" Earth stared at Mercury's tears in his eyes as it all came to him... "I-I-" earth stared to crumble under his weight and stared to sob uncontrolibly. Venus padded forward towards the sobbing earth and laid down next to him, nuzzleing angest his fur. "Ve-Venus? What are you?" Earth asked, shocked at what Venus was doing. Mercury went over and laid down on Earth's other side and lean against him. Earth was now more confused than upset. 

"Merucry?! What are you?" Mercury spoke up. "It's bigger than you, Earth; just let us do this." Mercury spoke, trying to stop his voice from cracking. Earth tried to argue, but after awhile he begrudgingly accepted the two trying to calm him by giving him a cat's version of a hug. Mercury laid their angest earth and Venus for an hour before he realized that Earth and Venus fell asleep. Mercury fell asleep shortly after the three former planets curled angest at each other, conforting Earth. Jupiter walked in, seeing the three sleeping together, and couldn't help but crack a smile. 'There's like family,' Jupiter thought before curling up on his nest and drifting off into slumber.
