Mercuy awoke again after some time, feeling groggy and disoriented. Mercury realized that he was still in a dark place with the same cat that helped him here. ' So it wasn't a dream.' Mercury thought as he focused on the tom cat, who was just returning with something in its jaws. Mercury's nose wrinkled at the horrid stench coming off of the thing, and he felt a wave of nausea hit him. The cat dropped the object at Mercury's feet, revealing a dead rat. Mercury's stomach churned as he watched the cat begin to devour the rodent, its sharp teeth tearing through the flesh. "Well, are you going to eat your share?" The tom cat asked, pushing the leftovers to Mercury. Mercury hesitated, feeling sickened by the sight of the cat feasting on the rat. He shook his head, unable to stomach the idea of eating the dead animal. The cat shrugged and continued to devour the meal, seemingly unfazed by Mercury's refusal.

As Mercury watched in disgust, he realized that he didn't get the tom cat's name. Mercury hesitated for a moment before shaking his head and deciding not to ask. "Jupiter," the cat replied, as if he knew Mercury was going to ask for his name. Mercury felt a shiver run down his spine at the mention of the cat's name, Jupiter. It seemed fitting for such a powerful and intimidating creature, but it was also kind of ironic that the cat that brought him to safety was the name of someone he knew. Mercury couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this cat than met the eye. He had a strange aura of wisdom and authority about him, as if he held the secrets of the universe in his whiskers. "You're named Mercury? Right? " Jupiter asked , his golden eyes staring intensely into Mercury's.

Mercury nodded slowly, feeling a sense of both unease and curiosity wash over him. "Yes, that's right," he replied, wondering how the cat knew his name. Then he remembered that before passing out again, he told the cat his name. Mercury then spotted the strange thing around his neck. "What is that?" Jupiter stared at Mercury with a confused look before saying, "It's a collar. I would think that a kittypet like you would know what a collar is." Mercury stared now; it was his turn to be confused. "kitty-what now? "Kittypet, that's what you are," Jupiter explained, a hint of amusement in his voice. "A house cat, owned by Twolegs. You don't belong here in the streets with us starys." Mercury's mind raced as he tried to process this new information. He had never thought that this world had strange meanings and definitions. Mercury was about to ask what a two-leg was before he heard a yowl outside. Jupiter growled a low, threaty snarl before turning towards Mercury. "Stay put; don't leave the shelter unless I say so." Before Mercury could complain, Jupiter left the shelter without saying a word. Mercury was now alone in the shelter and began to think about what had happened so far. 'Ok. I have transformed into a cat and am currently on Earth; however, I am unsure of how to return to my original form. Will I ever be back as a planet?' Mercury thought to himself. Mercury heard scuffles outside and pawsteps retreating before Jupiter came back in with some scraps and scraches.

"You?" Mercury tried to ask. "Shh, not now," Jupiter replied in a strict but trying tone. Mercury just shuffed a bit under his paws before glanceing back up at Jupiter, who was licking his wounds. "So kit- " Jupiter spoke but was cut off by Mercury. "Uh,what's a...kit?" Mercury asked, feeling confused. Jupiter sighed, realizing that Mercury had no idea what a kit was. "A kit is what we call a young cat like you," Jupiter explained patiently. Mercury fur brisled in elation: " am not young! I'm like 4." Mercury stopped realizing he couldn't tell random earthling cats or any earthling, for that matter, that he was a planet. Jupiter raised a brow. "4 moons old is still a kitten," Jupiter explained. Mercury rolled his eyes, knowing it was pointless to argue with Jupiter about his age, as he was 4.5 billion years old, but Jupiter will never know that. "Also, what's up with that collar? Why does it say, " Mercury tried to look for the word "teeth"? Jupiter didn't look surprised by the question; he just got tired of wondering why Mercury didn't know a thing or two about the world. " It's a studded tooth collar," Jupiter replied, shaking his head. Mercury shivered at the thought of what Jupiter did to get the teeth to put on his collar. He quickly changed the subject, not wanting to know any more about Jupiter's gruesome habits. "So, are you going to let me leave?" Mercury asked politely, hoping Jupiter would just let him go. Jupiter let out a sharp laugh that startled Mercury before he went back to Seroius. "No, you will be coming with me." Jupiter said before adding, " To the leader of these streets, no cat is allowed to just roam freely on his streets without his permeation." Mercury shivered. "Who?" Jupiter turned towards Mercury, his eyes showing a tiny bit of fear. "Scrouge, the leader of BloodClan."

Mercury felt a sense of dread wash over him. 'Scrouge? They sound very dangerous.' Mercury thought before Jupiter nuged him to his feet, "Come. It's not best to make him wait," Jupiter said strenuously. Mercury gulped slowly and carefully, mimicking Jupiter's movements as they left the shelter. The sunrays blinded Mercury's eyes for a moment before adjusting to the gloomy buildings and allies. Mercury thought about who Scrouge was and what kind of power he held over BloodClan. As they walked through the desolate streets, Mercury couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered in the air.

The thought of facing Scrouge filled him with a sense of impending danger. With each step they took towards their inevitable meeting with the leader of BloodClan, Mercury's heart pounded in his chest, unsure of what fate awaited him. Mercury wonders if he could ask Jupiter more about Scrouge, but he seems focused on getting him too Scrouge, so Mercury can only imagine the horrors that await him. 'What if he's like Venus—huge, scary, hotheaded, a bully?' Mercury thought as it sent shivers down his spine to his tail tip.

Mercury followed besides Jupiter as they mazed their way through allies and sidewalks with an abunch of humans unaware of their presence. Mercury couldn't shake the feeling of dread as they drew closer to their destination, wondering if he would be able to handle whatever awaited him. Despite his fear, Mercury knew he had to trust Jupiter and stay by his side as they navigated the unfamiliar territory together. Two black-and-white toms that appeared to be identical stopped Jupiter and Mercury. Mercury wondered if they were related or not. "Your back, Jupiter." The one with an underbite spat, his eyes narrowing at them. Jupiter didn't flinch, standing tall and proud. "I never left the tarratory, Snake. Unlike you, I don't get cooped up in camp all day," Jupiter replied, his voice laced with venom towards Snake.

The other black-and-white tom didn't seem fazed by Jupiter's words. "You have a lot of explaining to do, Jupiter. Especially with that runt following you around like a lost kit." Jupiter didn't flinch or even show any aggression. "Keep your thoughts to yourself. Ice, you aren't the one that needs to worry about facing Scrouges rath." Jupiter warned; his tone was cold and menacing. Ice's eyes remained narrowed as he and Snake moved out of the way to let Jupiter and Mercury pass. As Mercury followed beside Jupiter, he picked up Ice's voice faintly. "Atlest Scrouge values our loyalty; we are his guards." Mercury wondered if Scrouge truly valued them or just put up with them as gaurds, as they were such blind loyalists.

Finally, they reached the center of the camp, which was full of angry-looking stray cats, some with the same studded tooth collars and some without, but all shared the same thing: anger with ragged fur, and it looked like they would kill anyone if they dared to speak to them. Mercury felt hunderds or thousands of eyes glare into his fur like they were trying to rip him apart by their eyes, and he hated to amit, but it was working on making Mercury more fearful of the stays. Mercury then saw a massive black-and-white tom with rainbow-toothed, studded colar. 'That must be scrouge... I hate it when I'm right.' Mercury thought as he braced himself for the impending confrontation. "Jupiter " Scrouge said with venom in his voice. " Hello, Bone," Jupiter replied, not scared at all. Mercury let out a gasp. 'Wait, if that's not scrouge, then-' Before Mercury could finish his thoughts, a small black tom with one white paw and a purple tooth studded collar appeared from behind the dumpster and leaped on top next to Bone. "Scrouge," Jupiter said, bowing his head slightly. Mercury gasped, staring in disbelief that the small cat was Scrouge. The leader of BloodClan
