Yukina's P.O.V
I woke up with a start, freezing water had just been thrown at me. I immediately looked around my eyes wide and I saw a tall silhouette his hair was long down to his shoulders. Most of the others looked at me with apathy but his was pure, unfiltered hatred his hand clutching the now empty bucket. "Get up." his voice was like a sharp knife and he had a slight accent. I got up from the bed drenched in the cold water. He stared at me for what seemed like an eternity the water dripping my face for every second that passed. "Come with me and don't try anything funny." I slowly walked with him my clothes still drenched. He led me back to the meeting place and I saw all of the members seated at the table. "The8." S.Coups's demanding voice rang throughout the room and immediately everyone's attention was on me and The8. I could feel chills go down my body as I felt everybody's piercing gazes focused on me. The8 walked towards his own seat his shoulder harshly butting into me causing me to stumble forward. My eyes locked contact with S.Coups and I felt the tension in the air. He slowly stood up from his seat and walked towards me his eyes never leaving mine. He grabbed my face with his hand and his nails made a small cut from the force blood slowly dripping from it. My eyes wandered from his and I glanced at Joshua who was looking right at me he had an unreadable expression on his face. "Hyung." a clear voice rang out and I looked at the source another man standing up his face was serious in contrast to his face which was warm especially his eyes that were a comforting brown. He glanced at me ushering me out of the room which I obediently obeyed. He closed the door shut as I was left outside. Now's the time my heartbeat quickened as I frantically glanced around the hallways for security cameras none were in sight. I needed to find clues as to why I'm here so that I can save me and Chan. My mind wanted me to stay where it was safe but I won't be able to accomplish anything this way. I slowly walked away from the meeting room my pace quickening as I got farther and farther. At this point I was fully sprinting it made me realize just how little stamina I have every room looked the same and I was sure that I passed at least ten security cameras at this point. It was getting hard to breathe I wasn't used to running at all and my clothes being soaked chilled my throat making it more coarse. I struggled to catch my breath it has been at least five minutes since I ran but there was no sign that they were looking for me. I don't know when that will change or if they were simply monitoring me through the security cameras. I walked my legs burning from the sudden exercise. That was when I caught it the undeniable smell of herbs and medicine. I walked my nose searching for that scent and I came across a large wooden door. Compared to the others it was less intricately designed and also significantly less heavy looking. The door had a padlock on it I surveyed the hallway and to my surprise there were cameras in sight. My heart leaped out of my chest as the booming of an alarm sounded. I needed to take action NOW. My hair was a mess and during my run I lost my hair tie luckily a bobby pin was still left in my hair. I took it out of my hair now loose parts of it were sticking to my face from sweat. I bent down and fumbled with the lock trying to pry it open with the pin. I felt like my heart was beating out of my chest and I heard the undeniable click of it opening. I quickly opened the door leaving it partially open. I took the padlock in my hands and locked the door before closing it as silently as I could. I locked myself in but for now this was my safest option. I took it to my surroundings it looked like a tea room and so many distinct smells were filling the room. It was neat and looked well used. The storage wasn't lacquered instead worn and used a stark contrast from the polished mansion. Chinese characters were etched on the wood and I was barely able to understand its meaning. My eyes wandered from chests until I saw something useful. My eyes traced the characters on it "cold, food, and festival" A sinister idea formed in my head as I started thinking of a plan for escape.
