Ch. 1-First Day

Gracie's POV:

It was the first day of Senior year. I was super excited to finally finish school, Start my music career and live how I want to live. However, I was not excited for the homework and the Bully's. Yes there are still bully's even in senior year. Not as many a lot less but still. I was getting my outfit which was A white Shirt with A surfboard on the back and it said Dukes on it. With a pair of ripped jeans and a gold star necklace.

I was walking through the hall talking to my friend Rudy. He was super nice and cute, he loved to surf and we would go every summer for at least a week.

Rudy-"Omg Gray did you see the Wave that I rode last week?! It was huge!"

Gracie-"I did! I saw your Instagram post about it. I was scared when you fell in at first but then you came up."

Rudy-"You gotta stop worrying about me when I surf Gray!"

Gracie-"Okay, okay, i'll stop. Let's just get to math before we're late."

I turned around and saw a Tall blond girl looking down at me. With 3 other friends. I felt Rudy grab my arm to shield me and he tried to turn around but The blond grabbed my shoulder and forced me to turn me around.

Taylor-"aww, is this your little Girlfriend Rudy? She's cute."

Rudy-"Taylor, Come one. We kissed once at a party, and now act like every girl I'm with is my girlfriend. This is my childhood friend.

Gracie-"Rudy, you know this bitch?"

Taylor-"Who are you calling bitch."

Gracie-"Who am I pointing to? Come on Rudy we got class"

I tried to turn around when I felt a fist go into my face and I fell to the ground. I saw Rudy go in front of me to Block Taylor from hitting me again.

Rudy-"Taylor, YOU CAN'T JUST HIT PEOPLE YOU DON'T LIKE OR DON'T WANT TO GET TO KNOW!"

Taylor-"Pfft, come on girls lets go."

Taylor and her group walked away from us leaving me and Rudy alone in the hall. He bent down and grabbed my arm to pull me up. I gripped his shoulder to stay balanced and wrapped around me.

Rudy-"Shit, are you okay Gracie?"

Gracie-"Yea, I thin- think so. It's the last period, let's just skip it. I don't have energy anymore."

Rudy-"Ok, Let's just go to my place Ok?"

I nodded and we walked out of the hallway to get out of the school. We got out successfully and we drove to his house in his car.

I Was lying down On Rudy's bed. He was next to me and we were watching Gilmore Girls. I had my head on his chest since we were childhood friends. We did this every so often. Like if one of them was injured or sick. He wrapped his arm around my waist lightly, not romantically.

Rudy-"You okay Gray?"

Gracie-"Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired. Mind if I take a nap, Ruds?"

Rudy-"No, I don't mind at all. I'll be here when you wake up. You can stay the night too"

Gracie-"Thanks babe."

He hummed in response and I closed my eyes and fell asleep. But I felt him kiss my forehead lightly and I smiled. God I loved this boy. I hope to never lose his friendship. I don't think I could handle it at all. He's been with me through everything, Friend breakups and Regular breakups.

Lets just hope I never encounter Taylor again....
