Matteo's POV:

As they did whatever trade they did upstairs, I was locked in a fiery monopoly game with Szarina and Courtney. So far, I was getting my ass absolutely kicked.

"My hotel! Pay up, buddy!" Courtney gleefully cried as she made a "gimme" gesture at me, her eyes gleaming as the money came flowing into her hands.

Like I said. My ass was getting kicked.

Just then, I heard Isabella's phone go off. Multiple times.

"Is that Isabella's phone? I thought she always kept her phone on silent," Szarina said as she peered over my shoulder. "Wait... texts? What do they say?"

I batted Szarina's face away, unlocking her phone.

"Oh..." I trailed off, reading the texts, a frown slowly appearing on my face.

"Dude, he's crazy," Szarina commented, wrinkling her nose. "I always thought he was creepy. But this is  too much, don't you think? He's really down bad, huh?"

"Huh? Who?" Courtney asked as she peeked over my other shoulder, before retching and going back to counting her money. "Dude's hella weird. I wonder why she hasn't blocked him yet."

"Yeah..." I trailed off.

(A/N: Life hack: if someone's doing this to you, block them immediately. IT SHOULD BE OBVIOUS BUT IMMA SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE ONES IN THE BACK. BLOCK THEMMMMMM. If you don't want someone texting you then boom. One button and they're gone. You'll get over them and find someone unless you run towards red flags.)
