Courtney POV:
I must have the self control of a god because it took every ounce of my body not to knock Aiden unconscious with my slippers.
He had just came down from upstairs and now we were locked in a ferocious battle, trying to get him to sit down and let us paint his nails. 4v1 should be easy, right?
Turns out Aiden was weirdly strong. It was extra weird when he was built like a stick and you could almost count his ribs.
It didn't matter. Right now I was trying to pin him down without accidentally smashing his skull. Definitely not on purpose.
"Aiden. Joshua. Sim," Isabella tried to keep her tone calm, but her twitching left eye was saying something else. "Sit down."
They were circling each other like a literal battle. It was very entertaining to watch.
"Matteo never specified I had to do it today," Aiden said, his eyes darting to Matteo.
"Aiden, I made sure the script clearly stated that the ritual of nail art is compulsory the day the recipient receives the news. Stop making excuses," Isabella said through gritted teeth. Her gaze met mine for only a millisecond, but it was enough to tell me- now.
FWUMP!
I pounced, quickly sitting down on his back which cracked so many times I almost forgot I was sitting on a 17-year-old and not an old man.
"Mh mmh mmmh!" Aiden's protests fell deaf to my ears as I calmly pinned his head down onto the carpet, muffling his complaints.
15 minutes later...
After quite a few violent threats from me, we finally managed to tie him to a chair along with a promise from him to keep that filthy mouth shut.
I stared down at him, with Szarina to my right giggling wickedly with a nail file in her hands and Isabella to my left, grinning triumphantly.
"Let the fun begin," I declare.
