Where Am I

*beep, beep, beep*

Those are the first sounds I hear as I wake up. I started wondering where I was secondly. I started blinking my eyes. As my vision cleared up I saw three people standing around me in the room.

"Doc! She's up!"

I heard my dad scream. He was still a blur though so I couldn't completely see him.

"Oh my, thank god you're okay! Don't ever do that to me AGAIN you understand!?"

"I'm sorry lil."

"Its okay. I'm just glad you're okay. You are okay aren't you?"

"Yeah. My vision is just a little blurry."

"Caden, Lilly, I'll be right back I'm gonna go find the doctor."

"So I'm obviously in the hospital and wait... Did my dad just say that Caden was here!?"

"Yes... He did. If you want to though, I'll leave..."

"I never said that..."

"Oh."

My vision cleared up making Cadens smile the first thing I saw. He hasn't smiled like that for real in the longest time.

"So how did you end up in here in the first place?"

"That's actually what I was just about to ask you. All I remember is being down the street from the gas station talking to Dorian while Lilly was on the phone with Hannah. You weren't even there... How and why did you end up here?"

"I don't know what happened. I just know I got a call from Lilly. She was freaking the hell out because she didn't know what to do cus you passed out in the middle of the road...Lilly?"

"I was just talking to Hannah while she was talking to Dorian and I turned around to tell her you were lying about cheating on her and she was in the road on the ground out cold. What did Dorian say to you?"

"He was just saying how- wait, you didn't cheat!?"

"No I didn't... I lied. I'm sorry."

"Why did you lie about that? If you wanted us to break up you could've just said you wanted to end it..."

"But that's the thing um Lilly, do you think we can talk alone?"

"Sure, I'll go find out from Dorian what you two were talking about."

"Thanks."

"Yeah thanks Lilly"

"No problem Jazz."

"You were saying Cade?"

"Um I was saying Jazz that I didn't cheat. I just said I did because I thought it sounded better than the reality..."

"What's the reality?"

"The reality is.... I- I'm moving in 6 months.."

"Right in the beginning of summer..."

"Yeaah."

I was ready to cry. In fact I think I might've and that's bad because I never cry for anyone. Especially not over guys. But Caden, I'd take my own life if it meant he would live.

"Well, I'm gonna miss you. Hey Cade?"

"I'm gonna miss you like crazy. Yeah Jazz?"

"Do you think you could forgive me for the way I acted?"

"Only if you can forgive me for what I told you and for letting it get this far."

"Yes."

"Yes."

We were both smiling and crying at the same time. It was kind of a sad moment but I was too glad that I had him back in my life to worry about anything else. Even the fact that I was... in the... hospital. Oh. Yeah. Forgot about that.

"Ahhh I see our patient is awake and doing well."

"Yeah I guess. What's wrong with me? Can I go home?"

"We aren't sure yet so no you cannot go home."

"How long have I been in here?"

"You've been in here for a couple hours."

"And you still don't know what's wrong with me?"

"No ma'am we don't."

"Well that's too fucking bad cus I wanna go home. I've been here for two hours, not my fault you don't know what's wrong."

"We're afraid their might be bleeding in your head from when you fell."

"Then how bout a cat scan genius?"

"We already have."

"Then you should know if there's bleeding or not so you should know if I can go home or not."

"The thing is, the brain activity was low because you were asleep. We need to take another one while your brain is fully functioning."

"Are you WAITING for an invitation!? Damn it, Daddy I wanna go home!"

"We can't take the cat scan until you're stable."

"I am stable though aren't I I I wha what's wro wrong wi with me!?"

"She's going into shock."

"Code blue in room 15. Code blue in room 15."

"Jasmine!"

Cadens voice was the last thing I heard before I completely went out again.
