The bell rang at the end of 4th period for lunch to start. I was starving and so happy at the same time! I get to eat food and see Cade at the same time! That's the best thing you could ask for I think.
I was walking towards the Cafeteria when someone ran up behind me and grabbed my waist. I quickly turned around and saw Caden.
"Caden I thought you were someone else!"
"Scare you?"
"Little bit."
"Sorry Jazz..."
I hugged him really tightly and he did it back. God I love this kid so much!
"Its ok just surprising is all."
We stood there smiling at each other. Looking into each others eyes. This was nice. I wish it could last a while longer. We headed into the cafeteria and found the table with our friends.
"Hey guys!"
"Hey Hannah Banana!"
"So you guys are a 'thing' now?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"Cus you guys are cute and I didn't want to make anything weird."
"Well at least someone cares enough to NOT make things awkward."
I looked at Beccs smiling. She knew what I meant.
"Well I'm so sorry! Two of my best friends were finally going out! I got excited, but now you guys can make this year last while it will right Caden?"
"Uhhh I'm sure we'll be together longer than a year."
That made me smile.
"But I thought you said-"
"BECCA! Mhm. Don't. Please."
"Cade what is she talking about?"
"Nothing. I don't know. Wanna get some lunch?"
"Okay!"
Something is going on. I don't know what, but maybe I'll find out. Or I'll just let it be.
