~Cadens POV~

I came back to hospital the next morning. Lilly was still there like she said she would be, but this time there was two new people in the room. One of them being Jasmines dad and the other being Dorian. I wanted to attack him so badly and im guessing he could tell because when he saw me his eyes were so wide they looked like they belonged on a bug.

"What are you doing here Dorian?"

"I came to see Jazz."

"You know she doesn't let you call her that so why do it behind her back? Ha I don't like you doing it either and im already pissed at you as it is so why make it worse? I mean are you seriously that dumb? Why are you here?"

"Right. I don't care if you're pissed at me or not, that's your choice because right now I'm here for Jasmine. I may be dumb but not dumb enough to break the heart of the best girl ever to walk Pioneer. And I already told you. I'm here for Jasmine."

"I did not break her heart! That was you! Literally!! Why the hell would you even bring that subject up with her?! What the hell do you think Lilly was trying to do?! And then you try to get the rebound. Some balls you have come back around her that way. Why don't you just get out of here?"

"Yes you did Caden! What do you think made her fall to the ground in the middle of the street?? And of course I did!! Have you NOT seen her I mean are you blind?! Im not leaving. Im staying here for Jasmine."

"I don't know! I wasn't there! I wasn't there... She needed me and I wasn't there... Yes, I have seen her. She's beautiful and I love her. Okay, stay if you want, but don't get any ideas. None at all."

"Yeaah. So anyways, are you two back together or is she still free or??"

"No we're not YET so like I said don't get ANY ideas Dorian. She's mine and I'm never letting her go again."

"Well that's sweet but if I get to her first when she wakes up-"

He was cut off by the doctor and surgeon walking in. No one was talking they all just stood up and Lilly had just woken up and jumped from where she was sitting.

"Where is she!? Is she okay!? How was the surgery!? She's still Alive right!? RIGHT!?"

"Calm down ma'am your friend is fine. She is being taken care of up in ICU in room 23 when you're ready to go see her but we don't know how long it'll be until the medicine wears off and wakes her up."

Dorian left the room. I didn't know where he was going and I didn't care.

"The surgery was a success. We just had to fix her spine which sadly caused some damage in the sense where she won't be able to play soccer for well honestly we don't know how long. But she Is alive and well otherwise."

"Okay. Thank you."

"Just doing my job."

I couldn't believe it. She can't play soccer for god knows how long.

"That's really gonna kill her. Who's gonna tell her?"

They all looked at me.

"Oh no. No no no no no no no no no no. No I am not telling Jasmine she can't play soccer. I've hurt her enough, I'm done hurting her."

"Caden, I think you have to tell her. You're the only one she'll believe. The rest of us she'll just ignore. Please? If you don't then she'll try playing and what if the damaged area becomes permenatley damaged? Caden..."

"I have to tell her..."

"Yeah. You do. But do it tomorrow. Let's just go up and see her today."

We all headed up to the ICU. When we found room 23, we knocked on the door in case there was any doctors or nurses in there. When we knocked we were all shocked to hear her laughing, but the same thing ran through all our heads: She was awake!

"Jasmine!?"

"Caden!! Lilly!! Daddy!!!"

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling pretty good. Dorian's been making me laugh, it hurts but that's okay. It's a good pain. How are you?"

"Um actually. I wanted to ask you something."

"What?"

"How is your heart feeling.. About me an-and you?"

"Its um healing from it all, but I miss you...'

"You do?"

I didn't really want to know the answer to that but I had a good feeling about it so I asked anyways.

"Yes, I do...'

"I miss you too"

I had a huge smile on my face. I think we're going to get back together.

"So um does that mean you'll-"

"Jasmine! You never answered my question..."

"What question Dorian?"

"Will you go out with me?"

"You're serious?"

"Yes. I am. So will you?"

"Um, I'm sorry but my heart doesn't want to let go of Caden."

"It doesn't!?!"

My smile was getting bigger.

"No it doesn't. But I cant forgive you for cheating either."

"Oh Jasmine, you didn't hear me when I told you he didn't cheat?"

"Lilly what are you talking about?"

"He wasn't lying when he said he didn't cheat. He lied when he said he did. He just didn't want to tell you he was moving."

"But I realize now that was wrong. I should've been honest and i'm sorry."

"It's okay Cade. Oh, sorry. Is it okay if I call you that?"

"Only on one condition."

"What would that be?"

"It's kinda cheesy but lets commit a crime?"

"What kind?"

"The kind where I steal your heart and you steal mine?"

"I'd love to be your partner in crime."

We both had a smile on our face a mile long. It was amazing.

"Oh my god!!"

"Lilly what's wrong?"

"Jake's in the ER, he got hit by a car skateboarding!!"
