Yuzi knew something was wrong in the team.

When no one in the team had been pranked for over 36 hours, Yuzi could sense something was amiss. Where had their troublemakers gone?

Maybe it's just their luck that the two had given up on their shenanigans, Yuzi thought with relief.

But the next day, he realized he was wrong.

Yuzi could see Dhruv frowning from their usual seat at the back when Riyan sat down beside Sanga.

He let it go, thinking he might be overthinking and resumed practice, but when they sat down for dinner, Dhruv was sitting with Yash while Riyan was busy with Hetty.

Yuzi decided to figure out what was wrong and took a seat beside Dhruv. "What's up with the long face?" He asked with a slap on his back.

Dhruv just grunted and continued stabbing his salad, looking at Riyan and Hetmyer from the corner of his eyes.

"Did you have a fight with Riyan?"

Dhruv snapped his head in his direction and narrowed his eyes before asking, "Why would you say that?"

"You've been glaring at them for like an hour now. What's up?" Yuzi said with a smirk.

Dhruv's glare deflated, and he shrugged, "He's been busy."

Yuzi raised a questioning eyebrow, "Too busy for you?" His eyebrows furrowed in confusion when Dhruv shrugged again.

"Come on, Riyan can't live a minute without you." Yuzi nudged him teasingly, but Dhruv's mood remained unmoved.

He was about to tease him further when Yashashvi caught his eye and shook his head, motioning him to stop.

"Kya hua dono ke bich?" Yuzi asked Yashashvi later while they were returning to their rooms.

"Pata nahi, bhai. But Riyan has been acting really weird for a few days now," Yashashvi said as they entered the lift.

"Weird as in?" Yuzi inquired, leaning against the wall, and Yashashvi began talking.

"You want your passport?" Dhruv asked in a surprised tone and smirked when Riyan nodded his head.

He pulled the younger boy in a headlock and ruffled his hair, "I'm not giving you the passport just for you to lose them again."

Riyan groaned out loud and pushed him aside, pouting as he rubbed his neck.

"Don't you always say I need to start taking care of my things more, JD bhai? Let me start now."

Dhruv's grin dimmed slightly at the straightforward answer. It had been ages since Riyan had called him that, he acknowledged with unease.

Yashashvi looked at them both and quickly jumped in with a chuckle, "Let him try Dhruv. Our baby is maturing."

"For the last time, I'm older than you." Riyan snapped and jumped to tackle him to the ground, making Yash shriek loudly.

Dhruv shook his head at the two boys quarelling on the floor, and suddenly everything was fine again.

The next day, Dhruv arrived late for practice, which was weird because he was always the most punctual one.
