Im confused. A camera? How can there be a camera on this island? Nobody has been here for years! I walked Lucy and Lily back to their mom. I couldn't stop thinking about the camera. It just seemed weird that its in this rainforest. The sun quickly set as I got ready for bed. I soundly fell asleep beside the Zebras.
I woke up to the sound of a boat. I looked at the beach part of the island and saw a boat. It was a smaller one, but it looked like it had a lot of supplies and heavy-duty cameras. Then it came to me, maybe these were the people who put the camera in the bushes! I wonder what they were trying to look for, Big Foot? Probably not, for 1. Big foot lives in the forest, 2. Big foot isn't real. I kept looking and I tried to find the people that were in the boat, then I saw a man walk up to shore. He had dark brown hair and shiny blue eyes. I walked over to him. "Excuse me, what are you doing here? And, who are you?" The man answered. "Im Oliver, one of the workers from National Geographic, and I'm here to look at the zebras. Also, who are you?" I told him the story about how I got stranded. "Wow, that's terrible! Where do you live now, we will bring you back to where you're parents live." He said.
"By the way, Im Samantha Peters. But what about the zebras? I've lived pretty much my whole life with them!"
"it's ok, the zebras can live by them selves, they are supposed to live that way."
So Oliver did his research on the zebras, packed everything thing up and before I knew it we were ready to go. I walked over the Ellie. "I guess this means goodbye, for real. Take care." I hugged her and hugged the little zebras then I had to leave.
