Running Wild

Chapter 5

We finally arrived at the house. It was huge! I walked into the house and saw a humongous flat screen tv. There were big couches all around and one of them had a remote connected to it.

I walked over to it. "What does this do?" I asked. My mom replied. "Its a massage chair. Here, sit." I sat on it. She grabbed the remote and turned it on. Something started to press against my back and it felt so good. I looked beside the chair and saw a big kitchen. Beside it there was a glass table with some decorative flowers.  There was also an island (which is like a de-attached counter space) with barstools.

Mckenzie walked in. "Excuse me?" "Sorry?" I was confused. "Your kind of in my special seat, so could you just like move??" "Oh, right. Sorry." I got up and looked around some more. My mom walked over to me. "So, do you like the place?" Like? I love it!! "Ya, its great!" "Ok, let me show you your bedroom!" We walked up the stairs (which was beside the front door). We went into this medium-sized room. It was really nice. There was a big queen-sized bed with a walk-in closet! Beside the closet there was..... I walked in... A bathroom!!!!! Wow this is awesome!!

"So mom can I hang out in here?" "Well i was thinking we could do some clothes shopping, you don't really have much do you." "Oh ok!"
We walked downstairs. "Jack, we're going clothes shopping, we won't be back for a while." She called to dad.

Mckenzie walked up to us. "Hey, mom, I'm coming, I need to get some t-shirts, oh and maybe some new cute clothes. Omg Izzy just texted me and said that converse are so in right now. I want to get some." "Mckenzie, we can go shopping another day, right now I am going with Samantha because she needs some clothes. In the meantime, I want you to get off your iPod and go clean your room. Right now." "Ugh." She started to text her friend and sat back down on the couch. "Ok, ready?" I nodded. We walked out the front door and got into the car.

"You know, Mckenzie has been like that forever. She always gets her way, it drives me crazy but I don't know what else to do. Anyway, so this will be like a long trip, you ok with that?" My mom said. "Ya, so what kind of things are we going to get?" "Well, you need: shirts, pants, shorts, dresses, undergarments, socks.... Pretty much just clothes. We also need to get you some shoes. But maybe after we're done, we can get our nails done!" Wow, we needed a lot of thins and this will take forever. But I'm ready for the challenge because I took that nap.

We finally arrived at an outlet mall. Mom parked the car and we started to walk inside some stores. The first one we went to was called old navy. I got 3 t-shirts there. We walked to the next store. Aeropostale. I looked around. I got 2 really cute skirts and an in-style shirt. It was a really nice green that hanged off my shoulder.
We walked to the next one. It was called lulu lemon. I walked inside and found some nice fitting leggings and some yoga pants. We went some more stores where I got some pyjamas and undergarments. Then we hit a huge store that had an orange checkmark at the front.
