If you had to make a choice between Kiera or Kendall, who would you choose? 

If you mean which would I prefer to write I would definitely choose Kiera! When I created Kiera, I had planned on making a character that had similar thoughts to myself in some occasions. Now, I'm not saying that all of my thoughts are like her, but I based most of her thoughts on my own and that makes her 100% easier and more interesting to write! 

  Who is your favorite character from Teen Wolf and why?

Out of every season that has aired I would have to say Lydia Martin, without a doubt. She started season one as the 'queen bee', someone who wouldn't even acknowledge another person who seemed to be below her on a social status. But when we look at her in seasons three, four, and now five, we see that she has come so far in her character development. She went from being an insecure teenage girl with a high ranking social status who was afraid of showing her real self in fear of being judged for how smart she really was to a girl who didn't need to hide what happened to her or who she really was all within one school year — and that's all because of the people she chose to be around. And I think that's something that everyone needs to think about — don't be afraid of what others think of you. Just be yourself. That's all that actually matters.

What gave you the inspiration to start writing Calamity? Did you have everything thought out or did you just 'go with the flow'?

Oh, gosh. Honestly, I had nothing planned out whatsoever. It was the, like, third or fourth episode of season four when I started it with no actual plot. I guess you can say I just went with the flow of it all, because that's kind of what happened. When I searched up Liam stories last summer, I came across a total of three and I was just thinking to myself, "How is this even possible? He deserves so many more stories! I mean, have you seen him?" And tada, Kendall was born. 

If you were to change the faceclaim of Calamity, who would you change it to? Or would you keep Vanessa Hudgens as Kendall?

I've always thought about changing the faceclaim of Kendall. But, when I started writing her and picturing her in my head while I wrote the scenes, I began to see the features of Vanessa Hudgens instead of a body with no actual defined features. I would never change Kendall's faceclaim. Trust me, I've thought about it and I can't picture her as anyone else.

What is your favorite BROTP and OTP that you've created?

My favorite BROTP would have to be Kendall and Liam before they started having feelings for each other — in other words, before they went to BHH and turned into creatures of the night. The things those two would do for each other is something not all friendships contain — kind of similar to Scott and Stiles, I would say. If one of them is putting themselves in danger, the other will go along. If one of them is going to do something stupid — let's use the example of Liam smashing his Coach's car — the other will go with in an attempt to stop them (that, or they didn't have a choice in the matter of tagging along). 

Although I'm not very far into the story I have much planned, and I'd have to say Jiera — also known as, Jackson and Kiera — would be my OTP of choice. These two happen to require tons of character development, for their personalities are very similar and tend to raise bickering whenever they have the chance. I'm very excited to show everyone their character developments, because we all know they both need it.

How did you get the idea for French? Did it just come to mind?

I actually came up with the idea at around midnight while I was scrolling through the Colton Haynes tag on tumblr. I guess you could say I was going through a phase of missing Jackson — which is a phase I have yet to shake off! Basically, I came across this crackship gifset of Nina Dobrev (who was originally Kiera) and Colton Haynes and I instantly knew I wanted to write something for them that was different than what I'd ever seen. 

So, then I was discussing with one of my friends which class I should use — Latin, Spanish, French, Arabic, or something most people don't usually have a class for? We both decided French would be the most interesting — and the small fact that I'd liked to learn it helped in the matter. So, I wrote up the first chapter with no real plot planned out, but after I wrote it everything seemed to just fall into place. I instantly had ideas for Kiera, her family, her friends, and also the basic plot line and it just went from there.

What made you choose Lily Collins as Kiera instead of Nina Dobrev?

At first I thought Nina Dobrev was a great fit for Kiera, but then I came across a crackship gifset of Colton Haynes and Lily Collins a few days later. In my head, I didn't think Nina looked British (if that makes any sense), but I thought Lily fit Kiera, her personality, and her backstory perfectly and it didn't take much for me to change it from Nina to Lily!
