Who is your favorite character that you've created so far?

Definitely, Clara Whitfield from Flawless, which I brought back yesterday. She is a lot like me- sassy, a bit awkward, insecure, and caring. Even though I not that far into the book, I have plenty planned for her. She turns from this scared little girl, who just lost her mother, into this brave fearless woman. She is exactly who I want her to be, and I hope people love her for that. She doesn't need a man to save her, she has herself. And that is the best thing a woman can ever be.

How would you describe your writing in three words and why?

I would describe it as a slow process, meaningful, and emotional. It's a very slow process because I have a hard time focusing, and never seem to write a whole chapter in one sitting. It's meaningful because everything I write, means a lot to me. It's emotional because I try to add feelings on how I would react to hear situations - which are full of sarcasm and fear, I guess. Also, just a bit of advice I read somewhere: when you feel insecure about a chapter you just wrote, always remember that to the reader it is always something amazing. Because you are the writer, and that chapter is always the same to you.

Why did you choose to bring Clara Whitfield back?

That's a pretty good question, because born to die/deathbeds was pretty horrific. I first started writing that in February, an it was a tragedy. I was inspired by the impossible girl aka Clara Oswald on BBC's Doctor Who. I chose to bring her back because Clara is my precious baby, and I could never erase her from my life. Whenever I draft a story that I published, I always make them have an epic comeback. Clara is one of my favorite characters that I've ever created, and that means a lot because I create a lot of them. Clara is basically your average fangirl/teenage girl, so I thought that people will defiantly connect with her.

What do you have in store for Clara?

All I can say, is a lot. Especially in season two, when her father tries to corrupt her, but he can't. So she plays along, pretending to be corrupted by her dear father. Her father wants her to maybe attack our dear scarf boy, Isaac Lahey. Clara doesn't know if she can do it, but if she doesn't, her cover is blown.

What is your favorite BROTP and OTP that you've created and why?

My favorite BROTP I have created is Alex Hale and her cousin, Derek Hale. Alex brings out a side of Derek that we will never see from Teen Wolf, and I wanted Alex to bring that out. They always protect each other, scream-sing, and are very sassy with others. They're my favorite little babies.

For OTP, it'd actually Alex and Stiles. They have a dynamic that consists of sarcasm, trust issues, and negativity. Alex has lost all hope since the fire, but Stiles makes her believe in hope. I have a lot planned for Stex,(sounds like sex, just go with it) especially in 3B. All I can say, is that love can turn to hate.

Why did you choose Lily Collins as the face claim for Clara? Did she scream 'powerful' to you?

Yeah, kind of. Clara means light, and lily has that face that screams light, you know? That, and Lily can sure kick ass. Plus, plenty of people ship Lily with Daniel(isaac) so why not have the wonderful Lily Collins play Clara?

thank you so much to roxy for having this interview with us, i could so relate to your replies!
