Walking through the hustling and bustling streets of Shinjuku can be prove quite a challenge even if Y/n had been living in Tokyo for quite a few years now. He still couldn't get used to the crowded streets of the city considering that back in his hometown in Sendai, the streets were never this crowded. He would glance to the side and see that Shinobu was right beside her and all he can say is that how in the hell is this girl is still not dehydrated from all tears she's been sniffling.

He cannot believe that she is this hurt just because he told her to fuck off. Was she just not so used to being told by people to get out of their lives that much? Well, there's always a first in everything.

Y/n spoke to ask her a question. "We're dealing with a cursed spirit, right?" Hearing no answer come out from her, this triggered his anger issues once again─as if there was never a time it wouldn't get triggered. "Right?" He asked her.

Shinobu turned her head at him and pushed her shades up to her head to reveal her puffy blue eyes from all the crying. "Oh, so I can talk to you now even though you just told me to stay away?" She asked.

"Just nod, idiot." Y/n shot back at her with an unimpressed look on his face. "If we're not dealing with a cursed spirit then shake your head."

Shinobu pouted and slowly nodded her head. "See? It's that simple to not be annoying to people, try to do that most of time, yeah?" He told her before continuing his way in finding the cursed spirit.

Shinobu placed her shades back on to the bridge of her nose as she followed after him. The crowded streets soon lessened as they walked into a more and more secluded part of Shinjuku. It didn't take long for them to walking into a part of the city filled with unfinished and abandoned building projects and abandoned buildings and shops. The two know that this must be where the cursed spirit had resided seeing that this is where most of the cursed energy had gathered.

Y/n sniffed the air before growling, his divine beast within him resounding more in that growl than a person trying to imitate a growl. "It's close."

"I don't see it." Shinobu replied.

"Don't you have the Six Eyes or whatever that's called?" Y/n asked.

"I haven't fully mastered it yet."

"You mean to tell me, you have supposedly the most useful technique when it comes to tracking cursed energy or cursed spirits yet you can't use it?" Y/n deadpanned, literally in utter disbelief.

"I don't work well under pressure, okay?!" Shinobu shouted at him in embarassment.

Y/n just can't believe at how the odds is definitely against them right now but before they could react. A large, lupine-like eldritch horror of a cursed spirit suddenly appeared at blinding speeds had clamped it jaws on to the legs of Y/n which effectively fractured those as he was then tossed to the side. Shinobu shouted as she used Blue to gather metal scraps from the area as she threw it at the cursed spirit which ran away from her attack.

Shinobu ran to Y/n who sat up in pain as blood coated his legs and pants. "Y/n, are you okay?" She asked, worried.

"Do I look fucking okay to you?" Y/n hissed before groaning in pain. "Ugh, fuck!" He clutched at his legs in order to stop it from bleeding.

Shinobu tucked a hair behind her ear. "That was kinda hot..." She shyly mumbled.

Y/n slowly looked at her, incredulously. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" He questioned her. "I'm fucking injured over here!"
