Many people will tell you what it is based on their experiences, but what if I told you that it was always in you? It needed to be let loose, break the chains, and fan the flames. We want many things, but we don't have the strength or courage to achieve them. For many, there are people like that in the world, but there will always be the few who do have the will, the thirst, and the hunger to gain what our hearts desire. People will doubt you, shame you, curse you for it. People like my sons and I are the ones who plot the story, bring in the adventure, and, in the end, gain what we want. Is it bad? In some circumstances, yes, but most of the time, no.
It's the villain's job to bring in the fun, the scheming, and the most exploitable roast to you, but in the end, we lose, or do we? Well, that is where our ambition comes in. It's a force that's always present, a part of our being, driving us towards what we want in life, the power we crave, and the magic we seek. In all of the Realms, there are endless powers, infinite resources, and many people to control to gain the greatest pleasures and treasures in the world. Can you blame a man? Or, in this case, the hearts of three men?
