Excuse me?!
"You?" Darren turned to face none other than Alex Henry; schools bad ass/player.
"Me!" Alex chirped as he walked toward me and wrapped an arm around my waist. I shivered as his hand rested on my hip, and sparks ignited.
"Please. That's the funniest thing that I have ever heard." Darren chuckled.
"Believe it or not, but we've kept it secret for what now?" Alex looked down at me.
"Umm.."
"Three months." Alex answered.. Wait three months! That means! Darren's going to think that in 'cheated' on him!
"Thr- three months!" Darren exclaimed. Alex smiled proudly and hugged me tighter to his side. I pinched his back as unwrapped my arm around his waist.
"Ow." He mumbled under his breath.
"You cheated on me?!" Darren glared. I kept my mouth shut. He looked like he was about to scream at me when the most annoying voice butted in as her heels clacked against the black top.
"Darren, baby. We have to go." Hannah winked to me as she practically wrapped her whole body around him.
"This." Darren pointed between him and me, " 'WE' are not over!" He put emphasis on 'we' and the stalked off. Hannah pouted in a way that made her look constipated, once again; and sprinted after him as fat as she could in her heels.
Detangling myself from Alex, I turned and glared at him. He held up his hands in a surrendering fashion.
"What did you just do?!" I shouted.
"I.... Just helped you. But now you have to help me." He smirked. I shook my head vigorously.
"I am not helping you in anyway." I declined.
"Oh, but you are."he smiled a devious smile. I shook my head ad went to turn away; his hand stopped me as he pressed it onto my shoulder.
"Wait! I have a preposition for you. Just hear me out." I turned and my gaze softened. He smiled and scratched the back of his neck.
"Okay..!?!" I urged him on. He heaved a sigh.
"Uh.. If I pretend to be your.. Er.. Boyfriend, you have to pretend to be my girlfriend, in front of my parents. That are supposably tired of my ways, and they keep trying to match me up with girls who aren't as my mom says, "dirty sloths,". And if I have you I can go out and do whatever without them being suspicious. So.... What do you say?!" He pleaded.
Hmm...? Help him, he helps me. Pros: I get back at Darren-he makes good with his parents.
Cons: I have to put up with his arrogance.... And I get used whenever he wants to go out and do whatever the heck he does as s uses me as a cover up story.
"Fine." I heard a sigh. He smiled brightly at me and pulled me into a bear hug. I wheezed and pushed him away.
"Don't make me regret this decision." And with that I ran off to my truck.
