Louis pulled away from the kiss. Harry's eyes slowly opened and Louis whispered "I love you Harry. I've always had."
Harry couldn't believe it. Was he dreaming? He replied "I love you too Louis. I have had a crush on you for the longest time now and I still can't believe that you feel the same about me. I mean, you're like the most popular and best looking guy in school but yet you choose to love me? It doesn't make sense."
"What do you mean it doesn't make sense? You're literally the cutest guy I have ever met. The first time I met you, I fell in love but I didn't know what to do. At that time, I didn't come out of the closet and I was worried that people would find out. I didn't know what my family would think but all I knew was that I had to be honest to myself if I wanted to have you." he replied as he stroked Harry's curly hair. "I already feel terrible for just watching you get beat up on Friday. I'm really sorry but I wasn't sure what to do. The thought of saving you crossed my mind multiple times but I hadn't thought it through and I decided to leave as I couldn't bare to watch you suffer. But when I came home, the thought of me leaving you behind to get beat up with the idiot haunted me." He said as tears threatened to spill from his eyes.
"But then I finally came to my senses and I realized that I was ready and willing to risk everything for you Harry. I love you that much. And to be honest with you, I have never told anyone that I'm gay except for just now. I didn't even tell my family yet. I knew I had to do it to save you." he continued.
Tears trickled down Harry's cheeks. "You... you... Did that for me?" Louis looked at Harry and nodded. He placed his hands on Harry's cheeks and wiped away the tears. He placed his hand on his chin, making Harry look up at him. Louis stared at Harry's lips and he leaned in for another kiss.
When Louis pulled away, he laid down beside Harry. Harry snuggled up to Louis, placing his head on Louis' chest. Louis ran his hands through Harry's hair and said "Don't worry. I'll do everything I can to make sure no one ever hurts you again in school." Harry looked up with a smile on his face and Louis leaned in to kiss his forehead and whispered "I promise.."
