Note 1:

The great war is ongoing. Its day 7 of war and 1st day under Aswatthama.

I have taken inspiration from various sources and primarily from Dr. S. Bapat of BORI and his descriptions of the Mahabharat.

The war started after making the below rules and each of them were violated by the end of the war, by both sides.

1. Everyone will fight with there equal. A Maharathi with Maharathi, an atirathi with atirathi, a Hasti (elephant) with a hasti.

2. Nobody should attack a weaponless opponent, no should one attack an opponent who is fleeing.

3. People should declare there leanings and issue challenge, before attacking. The challenge must be accepted by your opponents.

4. No poisons, should be used in the battles.

5. The attackers should not gang-up on a single warrior.

Note 2:

The ending is a pure fiction made from my imagination. If you ask me, how it is possible, then please don't. I conjured this up as per my understanding. It is flawed but it is something made by me, so I like it.

Kurukshetra, Day 7 (Karn's POV)

"Today is the most important day of the battle. I know all of you are weary from the constant fighting and you are also elated as the two great warriors Bhishm and Dron are eliminated." I looked at he faces around me, "Remember the enemy is cornered now so it becomes dangerous. At the same time, there morale is down and it requires a strong push and the enemy forces will scatter. Today I and Bheem will have our specific task of targeting Duryodhan."

"Sutsom, ensure that information and supplies are relayed to us swiftly and efficiently. Use our fastest boats and horses to scout the field and deliver updates on the battlefield's conditions at every point," I commanded, watching as he rode off.

"Maatang, Shrutsen and Satanik, you will take command of the cavalry and the longbowmen. Target the enemies' flanks and force them to flee. Don't engage in melee. The main army will do that for you." I moved my horse along the lines and raised my voice, "Remember, your training and target the enemy and force him to flee. May the gods be with you!" The vahini erupted in cheers.

I then turned my horse toward Bheem.

The Kauravs had arranged themselves in a Kraunch vyuh formation, with Ashwatthama leading the charge at the tip, while Kritverma and Kambojraj held the flanks.
