As the weeks passed, Emma began to fall into a comfortable routine. Every morning, she would visit the bakery where Lukas worked, sharing breakfast with him before he started his shift. Then, she would spend her afternoons drawing, capturing moments from their time together—the café, the garden, the hill overlooking the countryside. The sketches soon turned into full illustrations, and before she knew it, she had a new story unfolding on the pages before her.

One afternoon, Lukas surprised her by stopping by the apartment on his break. He found her sitting by the window, lost in her work.

"Hey, you," he said softly, leaning against the doorway.

Emma looked up, smiling. "Hey. I didn't expect you."

Lukas walked over, glancing at the pages spread across the table. "Are these your drawings?"

Emma nodded, a little shy about sharing her work with him. "Yeah. I've been working on something new."

He picked up one of the pages, his eyes widening as he took in the delicate details of her illustrations. "Emma, these are amazing."

Emma blushed, her heart racing at the compliment. "Thanks. I've been thinking about turning them into a book—a story inspired by everything that's happened since I got here."

Lukas looked at her, admiration shining in his eyes. "That's incredible. You should do it."

Emma smiled, feeling a surge of confidence. "I think I will."

Lukas set the page down and pulled a chair over, sitting beside her. "I'm so proud of you, you know that?"

Emma's heart swelled. She had never had someone who believed in her so completely, someone who supported her dreams without hesitation. "I'm just lucky to have someone like you by my side."

Lukas grinned, leaning in to kiss her softly. "The luck's all mine."
