Once again, Colin Rodriguez catches me off guard. It's like he's been following my moves, except today, he isn't alone and he isn't with just anyone. No, Jude fucking Miller is right next to me. The man who put his tray next to me. It's him. Jude fucking Miller. I know I sound like a crazy woman but all the dialogues and mostly everything I prepared if I ever had to meet him just went up in smoke. I can't even speak, my mouth — and my brain — are frozen.

Seeing my incapacity to utter something back, Sofia takes over.  "Hi I am Sofia, Madeline's friend."

I can say she's also intimidated. I think it's a pretty big deal to have two handsome and giant hockey players sitting at your table, but that could just be me... And it seems like we aren't the only ones caught short by the sudden encounter.

What's a bit more shocking is that Colin isn't saying anything since Sofia introduced herself and even I can barely call her tiny sentence, an introduction. Let's say she presented herself to them so that the discomfort disappears. He's sitting next to her and in front of Jude. So I have to look a little over to my left to see what really happened in just two seconds. He's flustered as much as I am seeing Jude, maybe more. He can't stop looking at my friend just like a lightning bolt struck him on the spot. And it's weird because I can tell Colin is a talker even though I don't really know him.

Next to me, the scene seems to have triggered Jude's hilarity. And I can't help myself but smile at the sight. I allow myself to fully look at him. It's actually the first time I have the chance to do it. The one time on the plane doesn't really count. I was so much lost that day that the only thing I did right was thanking him, chat a little with Colin. And I barely had time to recover before landing, that I already had to meet with Matthew. So, yes, this is the first time I can take a good look at Jude Miller and my eyes are served.

This is the type of man you only see out of some movies, the type of man with dirty curly blond hair and yet his seems to be so delicate, so soft that my only dream is to dip my hand in his head and play with those beautiful curls. I can't get a true look at his face and can only make out green eyes but as if sensing someone's stare on him, our eyes meet. And it's the prettiest green I ever seen. It should be forbidden. Everything about Jude Miller screams 'sex appeal'. Nothing in his face is wrong. Everything perfectly fits. And God, his body seemed to be another work of art. His skin is a bit tan, just enough to know he'd been in the sun for a while. I think his skin is usually a bit whiter. And I can only use my imagination to wonder what this tight shirt is hiding beneath. A mountain of muscles and I'm 100% sure of it.

It felt like time stopped for a few minutes. He's looking right in my eyes, just as I'm doing so. He isn't smiling anymore, no. He's all serious but the good king of serious. The kind that made you feel naked. I feel vulnerable right this instant but I love it. I love it until someone's cough brings me out of my daydreaming state.

"You can totally tell us if we're bothering you two." Sofia says with a sarcastic tone.

I just roll my eyes and give her a pointed look. But I can't contradict her. I am still on Jupiter or whatever and it's great but it isn't reality. Even the boys have time to get their shit together and it seems like they are having a silent discussion. Just when Jude bursts out laughing meanwhile Colin turns crimson red. I look at Sofia and she's as lost as me. A look at the cafeteria and I can see that all eyes are on us. I quickly look back at my plate, not liking being the center of the attention even if technically, it isn't really me but having two massive hockey players right at our table doesn't help.

Colin is more and more embarrassed when Jude doesn't stop his laughter and I want to laugh too. Just hearing him laugh is funny. Yeah, he just has those kind of hilarious laugh that are funnier than the joke or the situation itself.
