The following day, she's boarding the bus again. He's never noticed her before, but when she makes a beeline for the seat she was initially sitting on yesterday, Dohwa realises that perhaps she is a regular on this bus, after all.

She’s also someone who has no interest in him whatsoever. He's immensely thankful. There wasn't even the slightest hint of a rumour ready to erupt yesterday. He doesn't know if he can be entirely reassured yet, but Dohwa thinks has a better feel of her character now.

The days pass.

The girl always takes the seat at the front without so much as a glance anywhere else, and when it's taken, she'll take the empty seat next to Dohwa, who by now knows to automatically move his bag.

The exchange takes several seconds, and he now utters you're welcome to her when she murmurs her thanks. And then it's back to silence, him to his music, her to her book.

He recognises the same girl laughing in the corridor occasionally, often accompanied by three guys notorious for their rigorous academic achievements, but pretends he doesn't. She never sees him or seems to recognise him, either.

Dohwa also doesn't care that much, because a certain adorable midget with purple hair is beginning to grow on him, and he finally feels like life is taking him somewhere.
