Sandra's Diary: The Wierd House Next Door.

Keeping Watch

February 8th,

   Diary, we have just few more days before school begins and I don't think we're prepared for the resumption of school activities at all. We stayed all day long, watching and waiting. Mum later called me and said Aunt Isabella couldn't come stay with us but she would make sure to come everyday, just to check up on us and make sure we were good. I didn't like the idea and I tried to persuade Mum to come home herself but she insisted that she had to stay with Dad until he was better. Besides, today's the second day and by evening, we have to go back home.

    "Don't you think this is strange? We've been monitoring the house since yesternight and nothing out of the ordinary has happened...do you think the coast is clear and we should go home?" Tony asked.

   I don't know. These people sure are creepy. I say we shouldn't let fear into our hearts. We have the light of God in us so, we shouldn't run away from darkness; rather we run into it, exposing their operations aand bringing justice with the help of God." I said.

   "I totally agree with you. But why did uncle Hugo leave such an urgent message?" Lissa asked.

   "He knew they were chasing after him..."

   "Of course. But why would he tell us to run? We're not the ones they're after-"

  "Or not. Remember what the spy pen recorded?" Tony said as our faces dimmed in realization. If they chased after uncle Hugo and couldn't get him immediately, they'll get us because of we're also part of their 'wanted' list. And Dany knew almost everything about us.

Betrayal sure is scary...

  "True. So is that why they haven't come now? Do you think they know Uncle Hugo's left already?" Ray asked.

   "Obviously. I mean, they must have a way of knowing because if Uncle Hugo was at home, they would've come to get him since; after all, they believed he was recording their meeting and now that he isn't home, I think it's Dany that's on our case now. Remember what she said about us?" Tony asked.

    "Yeah. And how their master replied that she should bring us in when she's through with us? "Ray said.

   "Guys, I say we pray. After all, they're cult members and they do their rituals to protect them or whatever. But we have access to the One who knows the beginning from the end and in Him our victory is secure. So let's enforce it now!" Lissa said as we stood up to pray.

    "His name is Jesus."

   Whenever the enemy fights against us in any way, we must not fret or feel alone. We must proclaim our victory in Christ Jesus and remind satan that he's already defeated! 🔥🔥Jesus has won it all!!
