January 30th,
Diary, since the last time I wrote, Lissa, Tony and I have been trying to get some clues on Dany's whereabouts all to no avail. I got so busy that I couldn't even write anything in here. But I tell you, nothing major happened until today. Today's the day that Ray's supposed to come home and he did. Only that he came with someone I never expected to see. Uncle Hugo?
He's my Dad's youngest brother and farthest to the family( he's too much of an introvert and rarely attends family gatherings like Thanksgiving and even Christmas! )
It's wierd that the only person he's close to in the family is my brother, Ray and they get along so well. He's pretty young so most outsiders mistake them as brothers. On the other hand, Uncle Hugo and I have never gotten along so I don't know how it's gonna work now.
"Ray!!" I squealed, jumping of the couch as I ran to give him a bear hug that sent us both falling to the floor. Unfortunately, Uncle Hugo was standing behind Ray and he fell too.
Laughs! Mehn you should've seen his face
"Hey lil' bro." I said as he tried pushing me off him.
"Hey! Get off! I'm on the floor-" Hugo protested.
"Then get up". I wanted to say. But I just swallowed my words and stood up, pulling Ray as I did.
"Gosh! What are you eating these days?! You weigh a lot! I thought I would've gotten squished." He teased. I just smiled warmly at him. I was glad to have my brother back. Oh I almost forgot to add that Uncle Hugo's a foodie. He went straight into the kitchen, opened the fridge and started looking for what to snack on.
"What's he doing here?" I asked, pointing in the direction of the kitchen where Hugo was.
"Oh that! Mum wanted him to come over and stay with us since she won't be home for a while. What's the matter? "He asked.
"Have you forgotten how i don't get along with him? Who even talked Mum into this? Why couldn't she call Aunt Rose or Aunt Brielle? Why him?" I asked.
"Just take it easy. You two should try getting along. Now, I'm starving, I gotta eat something quickly before I faint." He said, rubbing his stomach as I laughed.
"Go microwave the fish casserole, drama king." I said teasingly.
"Help me, please? "He asked, trying to put on a cute puppy look as I laughed heartily.
"That doesn't work on me lil' bro. It doesn't. But I'll only help because I miss you." I said as he smiled.
"Let's leave all the mushy stuff. Now, it mustn't be too hot and too cold-" he started.
"No can do. You'll eat it whichever way it comes out." I replied, walking into the kitchen. Hugo sat on a barstool, texting on his phone while eating the chocolate chip cookies that belonged to me!
My babies!
I felt like snatching them from his hand and screaming at him but once again, I let it slide and then as I turned to the microwave, something caught me eye.
What?
Uncle Hugo was wearing the bracelet that belonged to the cult or whatever that had their meeting in the wierd house next door!
I quickly brought out my phone and called Lissa.
"Girl, i need you to come quick." I said and hung up immediately.
B- but how's that possible?
