Vanessa was laying on her stomach in the Château. Her hair was up in a ponytail, her black square frame glasses perched on her face. She was wearing a white tank top and some flowy black pyjama shorts. She was sitting with her algebraic quantum physics textbook open on the couch, pen end in her mouth staring at her calculations. "Morning kie" she heard John B mumbled before feeling a presence loom over her. "What you doin' Nessa?" He hummed looking at the numbers scribbled on the page. "Homework" "online college stuff?" "Hmmm" she hummed glancing up at him.
"Having fun?" He mused and she smiled up at him. "Of course" John B smiled roughing up her hair. "Good job kido" "hey my hair" she whines smoothing it down making John B snicker.Vanessa heard the click of a bedroom door closing and looked up seeing an unfamiliar blonde girl try to sneak by them. "So.. Britney, Briana, Brie it's something with a B right? There's so many of you I forget your names" she laughed turning on her side to look at the girl properly. "Uh it's Beth" "right sorry" "Ness be nice" JJ warned walking out of his room in just his boxer shorts. "Oh don't worry I would never say anything bad about her but you better watch out for yourself though pretty boy. He's a player Beth, do yourself a favour, run fast. Run far"
Kiara started snickering from the other couch as a sly smirk played its way onto Vanessa's lips. Beth smiled slightly at her as JJ looked at the girl unimpressed. "I hate you, you know that?" He muttered in annoyance pinching his eyebrows together. "You know you love me" she smiled looking up at him through her glasses before turning back to her work just as her phone buzzed. Vanessa flipped it round to see her mom had texted.
"Oh shit I'm so dead" she muttered swinging her legs round to sit up right. "What?" Kie asked as Vanessa scrambled to put her converse on. "My mom got back early from her vegas business trip and is on her way home right now" "wait I thought we got drunk at your place, got high, got pizza then woke up to the house being a mess?" Kiara questioned and Vanessa nodded. "Yeah!"
It's took a second before realisation hit Kiara "oh shit sorry my brain is slow in the mornings" "I'm dead, she'll kill me" "don't worry we'll help you?" "We?" Pope groaned rubbing his eyes. Kiara and Vanessa both glared at him and he sighed "oui! yes of course" Vanessa grabbed her school supplies in her arms and quickly jogged to the door shortly followed by Kiara "I'll drive" she shouted and pope begrudgingly walked out behind them.
Jj moved towards the door but was stopped by Beth's voice "where are you going?" "To help clean up" he said like it was completely obvious. "What about me?" "What about you?" He asked even more confused. Beth scoffed crossing her arms. "How am I meant to get home?" "Walk I don't know" he shrugged walking towards the door. "You are such an asshole" "ness did try to warn you" was the last thing he said before leaving the girl on her own. She clenched her jaw in annoyance anger flaring in her chest.
"You motherfucker"

Vanessa, Kiara, pope and JJ were all sweating as they finished throwing the last bags of trash away. "Does it still smell like weed in here?" Vanessa puffed leaning against the kitchen island. Kiara sniffed momentarily before sighing "I don't know I think I've gone nose blind" suddenly they heard the keys turn in the front door and the teenagers looked at each other wide eyed.
The four teenagers suddenly made a dash for the couch. Kiara and Pope ran over and sat down beside each other trying to look relaxed. Vanessa dove over the back of the couch, landing on the edge and completely sliding off it with a thump. JJ jumped over the back of the couch laying stretched out. As he heard the door unlock he quickly bent over grabbing Vanessa waist. She let out a yelp as he plopped her on his lap just as the door swung open.
